Good one! Yes she must have missed it because if it was up to her Mom there wouldn't be one in the classroom. I don't think her mom had the birds and bees talk with her either. Too bad now she will have to marry and have a child to take care of forever. Her teen years have been cut down considerably and it all could have been prevented like you suggest with the birth control class. sarah palin doesnt agree with birth control, not even for married people apparently, what a strange country america is. a woman who is so opnionated on what people should or shouldnt do (birth control, abortion) is now being talked about in terms of 'leave her alone, her life is no one elses business', ironic
i think it really is important though, because her stance is that sex education should be formed of one methodology, abstinance. we know that doesnt work. she has now been shown that doesnt work. is she willing to change her stance on that in the best interests of young people and the children that they might 'accidentally' bring into the world, or is she willing for more lives to be ruined in the way that poor bristol's might be, by havign a child when she is still a child and by making her marry this

Come on.I'll bash Mccain,no problem,even Palin...but not her kid.What did her daughter do that many(I mean many)teeny boppers have not done?She made her bed,now like many before her,she will lay in it.I wish I could control what my 16 yr old son does when he is away from me,but I cannot.All I can do is hope he makes the right choices.
Since many schools are not allowed to teach birth control, it would seem about 80% of today's teens would have missed that class, I hope you didn't as we really do not need more babies with parents not equiped to raise them.
Perhaps she was asleep during that class, but she's having a baby now, and that baby will bring alot of joy into their family. And who knows what he/she can offer to the world?
