In a UMS Class vessel Is it possible to start the engine from engine control, if bridge telegraph system fails

In a UMS class vessel, having bridge control and engine control for starting of the engine, is it possible to start the engine from engine control in case the bridge telegraph fails? In a UMS Class vessel Is it possible to start the engine from engine control, if bridge telegraph system fails
I couldnt clearly understand your question. did you mean if both engine control room and bridge starting system fails, can you start the main engine manually ? if the question is that, depending on the ship's manufacturer's design, you can start the engine manually over the engine.

they always design the ships this way, so if there's problem with electrical control circuits, you can still control the engine%26amp;ship.
