Around here the classes are so disrupted by the kids who don't learn ,won't and don't want to learn, that I think parents would freak if they knew how bad it is.It isn't normal and should be stopped. How is it there where you are? In school people please. Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
My mom used to teach middle school but quit because of the lack of support from the principal/administration. She would have all levels in her class from gifted to special needs and everything in between. The gifted were bored, the special needs were lost and the normal/average kid got nothing because the others were disruptive. Parents would blame the school system, the other kids play the race card and everything else except they didn't hold their child accountable.
No child left behind sounds good in theory but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd like to see what would happen if kids were grouped by ability in core classes. Would grades improve because the others in your class would be at your ability level and you wouldn't have to feel 'stupid' for not understanding.
Too many good teachers are leaving the profession due to lack of support and low pay. When are people going to wake up and take a stand?!!!Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
yeah, in england where im from its just the same
you just get used to it, theres no point kicking up a fuss about it coz its been like this for ages, it'll never change
definately...
my school is pretty bad for that, my last years earth science class, the teacher had no control over it at all... the students who wanted to learn found it very difficult and the rest of us (most of the class) found it funny....
i think its definately getting worse, possibly because teachers allow it, and parents ignore it when they are notified of their teen misbehaving....
in school suspensions would help lots... like writing essays all day in a small room with nothing but a desk, chair, pen and paper...
i know i'd hate that... and try to not distrupt class... but I also have ADD (attention deficit disorder) and that makes it really difficult to sit thru an entire class... plus our classes are 80mins long which is way too long and part of the problem...
No, not normally. I'm 17 and in my last year of high school and it's by choice if you want to be there. If you don't want to be there you can just leave and get a job.
There are the odd few who still go to school when they don't want to be, but they just wag and go off driving somewhere.
I live in New Zealand.
When student from younger classes misbehave we often get them referred into our classes. They do disrupt our class and we have to put up with their rude attitudes and taking up our valuable learning time!!
This always annoyed me when I was younger too.
trust me when I say that this has been going on since the begining of time..
I went to school with kids that would try to start a fist fight with the teacher and if that did not work they would throw chairs and tables around the room. One kid passed out, One kid peed in the corner.. One girl chased another girl down the hallway with a knife... It was a normal day...
yes, thats how my school is. unless you are in all advanced classes, but unforunately i only got into some advanced classes, not all :(
I say kids that refuse to learn should drop out.
They're a waste of space and time.
Okay. I think most do change, but for the ones that don't...
-_______-
I actually quit my high school, got my GED and went on to college, two years before i should have graduated, because the high school i was at was pretty much a piece of crap. Kids got away with everything, cussing at teachers, talking in class. I mean some kids couldn't get the concept that some of us were actually there to learn. It was horrible. I couldn't stand to see kids my age acting that way and then being put in that category just because we were in the same grade or age.

I can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?
Does your lost of control comes in waves? Do these waves end up crashing violently?
Angler management might be a good idea. It will help keep your emotion in line and also the skill to reel it in if it starts to go too far. I suggest you hook up with my counselloer, Rod.
CheersI can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?
where do you get these? ha ha ha my goodness, Do you get any sleep at night? I would say a good answer to the questions is maybe you can worm your way out of going to the class!I can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?
No, you go to that class - just once - and you'll be hooked; they reel you in; so please, don't take their bait. Seriously, the people who work there are only concerned about phishing for new members.
You can get hooked on those classes. They try not to lure you in.
You have a whale of a problem; better stop fishing for compliments....!!
My wife took a course in fly fishing, but couldn't find my pole.
Hi ! take off the captains cap and put on the fishermans cap ! Think the fish right to your bait...
most piscators need to
that all depends if you're the master baiter
Just be sure that you don't get hooked.
no ,just reline your spool

The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
I have to write an essay about this and get feedback from the public...so I would like to hear your thoughts. The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
Well, if I am correct...I think that Abercrombie owns Hollister...and sadly these companies display pictures of barely clothed people modeling in the pictures in their stores. I think that this advocates a certain class of people or at least appeals to a certain generation that is widely influenced by sex and provocativeness. I also think that they only want rich or people who are so branded by today's marketing and advertising that they will spend so much money just to fit into a class of people who can afford to waste money. The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
Well, i personally think that hollister stuff all looks the same and i think that if u really want to spend that much money on some holey pants and a shirt that is super thin, go for it. But my younger sister seems to think in order to be popular u have to look like hollister and buy their clothing, and basically... we can't afford that. So in a sense Hollister sets society apart: the people willing to splurge on clothing, and those who dress according to their budget and their lifestyle, because hollister all looks the same (beachy)
i guess i really dont understand what your asking, but i honestly can say that i dont care much for hollister because with their stores if your not tall and super skinny then your not going to find any clothes that fit you. so maybe that will help you out some. im not sure!lip plumper

What do you class as being controlled by your man?
when he keeps tabs on you like where your going and how long you'll be gone. and is constantly ordering you around like a slave. What do you class as being controlled by your man?
If you don't feel that you can stand up to him, that your voice is heard equally, and that you call some of the shots, there is a problem.
Most of these people think relationships are about ';not letting anyone tell me what to do....'; that's why you all fail at relationships.
Marriage, relationships... ALL ABOUT COMPROMISE AND RESPECT. You might have to say, I won't talk to my ex boyfriend anymore because my real man doesn't want me to. That is not controlling, that is being a good partner. The problems come when he thinks he can still talk to his ex if you have asked him not to.
It's about give and take, honey.
Express some needs to your man. Say, ask him to make you some dinner one night and bring it to you in bed. Or ask him to wear a certain shirt one day if he gets on you about your clothes. If he willingly pleases you (and not all the time, men and women are not servants after all, just enough of the time for you to feel cared for), then he is a keeper. If he cannot please you, he is selfish and not really in love. Let him go.
Also... MANY men ';control'; and in fact dominate when a woman does not respect herself and ask for him to compromise for her. Men LOVE to be with women who know what they want and are not afraid to ask for it/get it.
A healthy relationship doesn't mean he changes you or you change him, but you GROW together, support EACHOTHER, and yes, control some aspects of eachother's lives.
Happily married womanWhat do you class as being controlled by your man?
Any man that needs to know where you are each and every minute of every day and who your with. A man that checks your cell phone to see who called you or texted you. A man that you have to ask permission to go out with your friends. Be yourself and live your life and never ever let a man control your life.
