Is a radio controlled plane classed as an aeroplane?

aeroplane being a proper aeroplane like an airbusIs a radio controlled plane classed as an aeroplane?
according to me, an aircraft is something that uses the air to gain momentum(speed). what do all of you think, am i wrong? I would like to know.

All aircrafts ';suck'; air from the front and push it back, by looking at newtons 3rd law, this would cause the same force acting on the airplane to move it forward.

hey even gliders gain momentum and lift with the use of incoming air.Is a radio controlled plane classed as an aeroplane?
narayan is correct u noe. gliders do use air to gain momentum. mindworm is correct aswell

If you are asking for a regulatory definition then it would be classed as a UAV if you are using means other then line of sight to control it and it would be classed as an airplane. In the US at least civil use of UAVs is highly restricted and you would need to get any flight approved by the FAA.
Radio controlled Aircraft are classified as Drone's.
if it is an artificial object heavier than air, moving through air mass using lift generated at fixed lift producing surfaces, it classifies as airplane.

the means of control are not discussed.

Narayan%26gt; your idea is great, just fails when speaking of GLIDERS.
They Make regular planes ';Radio Control';

for target practice....

Do you think they are ';NOT'; a plane anymore ????

Radio Control planes aren't just toy airplanes...
For logging time, no.
not a registered aircraft no... but yeah you could say so

I have to design a controlled experiment. for the N1H1 strain for my biology class?

It says the lable is NURI-34 I cant use humans and i have to write no more then 5 sentences summarizing how you would test this compound.

    1. what is the experimental variable in the experiment?

    2. what is the control in the experiment?

    3. should a placebo be used in this experiment (why why not)

    4. how many subjects

    5. what does the term basic (or base) mean in the context.

well i know since i cant use humans i was thinking about using pigs, so that would mean i should not use the placebo because how can you on pigs? Is the experimental variable the NUR!-34 I missed the first two classes where my instructer talked about because i did not register until later. Not sure where to start PLEASE help!!!

Thank you!!!I have to design a controlled experiment. for the N1H1 strain for my biology class?
The variable would be anything that varies between the subjects. This could be inoculation dose of the virus, the vaccine, etc. You will always have controls. That is an animal that recieves the same treatment as the rest of the animals except what you are testing (if you are testing a vaccine, the control does not recieve the vaccine, but, does recieve a ';sham'; vaccine which has all of the ingredients of the vaccine except the antigen).

You can think of your control as recieving the ';placebo';.

I would suggest using ferrets rather than pigs. Ferrets are much better

    human analogs.

The number of subjects is hard to pin down. You want enough to see if you have a statisticaly valid result, but, not so many that you run into cost/animal welfare issues. 5-10 per treatment group is normal.

I am guessing that ';Base'; would be base line data. That would be taking measurements (temperature, blood, etc) prior to inoculation.

    I hope this helps.

My dad wants to completely control my life. im 16 and he wont let me pick my own college or classes!?

My father once told me he would pay for my college if I majored in what he wanted me to major in. I said no and paid my own way thru getting 2 degrees. If you want control of your own life you have to pay your own way.My dad wants to completely control my life. im 16 and he wont let me pick my own college or classes!?
Don't go too hard on your father. Explain to him that you really appreciate the fact that he only wants the best for you and wants you to have a wonderful life, but you'd really rather go your own way when it comes to school. Tell him the different advantages of your choices. Also explain to him that you are basically an adult now and would appreciate it if he'd let you make some of your decisions from now on. %26lt;best answer%26gt;My dad wants to completely control my life. im 16 and he wont let me pick my own college or classes!?
Ask him what is reasons are for not letting you choose your own college or classes? I don't see anything wrong with you choosing that stuff.
Parents sometimes have a real hard time letting go. It isn't about you--so do not think it is. HE is having trouble with you growing up. Is there some room for negotiation? Can you two talk? Where's mom? Stay very cool and collected or you will just prove to him he's right. Take a deep breath, think out specifically what you want from him and sit down and negotiate a middle ground. If there is no middle ground, then you have a decision to make. Stand your ground (with love but mean it) or cave. Tough one.
I am really sure that your Father has your best interest at heart. It is not unusual for parents to have the final say about where their children go to college. College tuition and living expenses are extremely high so I would think that if you want a college degree, it really won't hurt you to at least give their pick a chance.
Talk to him, tell him that is something that will determine who you are as an adult and that should be your decision.

Problems gaining respect and controlling young girls in my gym class? Help, why are these girls being so mean?

Okay so I am a Senior in high school and a student leader for gym class, I basically help the teacher out with things and keep the students in order, making sure they are behaving and doing thing right. Now I started school last week and everyone in class seemed easy to warm up and were friendly to me, even the mean girls and they would talk a little and ask me questions and I was never mean to any of them or yelled at them ever. But today earlier one of the girl's shoes was untied and I very nicely told her to fix it becuase I don't want her to trip or get hurt and she acts all annoyed at me, again she had no problems with me before and was nice to me before and then she eventually ties her shoe lace after 5 minutes of rebelling. Next I catch her with gum in her mouth and our school has a no gum chewing policy so I tell her about it and she gets all annoyed again and says I already swallowed it. Her and her friends then look at me all annoyed and like I did something bad like I was a stalker or I was mean to her, when I said everything in a nice, calm voice. I am not a mean person, I am a pacifist and have no known enemies, and all the other girls in my grade are nice to me and treat me with respect. I noticed that a lot of younger girls, freshmen, at our school have attitude problems, even if you are a saint to them. Again I never saw the girls before this year and they have no past history with me or any relatives and I have never done anything bad in high school before.

So I have two questions. Why are the younger girls like this towards certain people, again I'm not a nerd or gay, in fact, I am very liked by almost everyone I know in my class. I am down to Earth and not a weirdo either, what is it that younger girls are thinking about high school? And what can I do to gain respect and not become enemies with them becuase I want to be a great student leader for them and set great examples and teach them to respect their elders? I am 18 for Christ's sake and was a freshman 3 years ago, I have much more experience and knowledge than them, what makes them think they can give me an attitude, and ignore me, I actually have the power to write them up but I'm too nice to do that. The freshmen guys in that class are all nice to me and all over me for some reason and they respect me and listen well to me but some of the girls are difficult to understand.Problems gaining respect and controlling young girls in my gym class? Help, why are these girls being so mean?
When you lead a class, you can't be liked by everyone. You gotta put rules. And have a sense of justice about how you use them (it's not always easy, I must admit).

Being fair is more important than being nice if you wanna be respected.

If they're mean, be mean. If they're ok, be ok (but still vigilant).

Don't worry, maybe you will have to be mean from time to time, when it's necessary. But it will not last forever. Most of the girls will very probably change their attitude quickly.

If you're always trying to be nice, they will probably be meaner and meaner 'cause they see that you do nothing...Problems gaining respect and controlling young girls in my gym class? Help, why are these girls being so mean?

How should i control my anger?any suggestions beside taking anger management classes will be more then welcome

my anger is getting out of control. later on i do repent, but i want to stop it before it kicks in.How should i control my anger?any suggestions beside taking anger management classes will be more then welcome
Anger in your case seems to be the mountable expression of stress. Simply put ';you get angry and want to do something about it'; but we can't go on and punch that jerk that just cut you off or that lady that just won't stop yelling on her cell phone. Either that or you have intersocial problems (problems with girlfriend, family, close friends etc.). My suggestion to you would be exercise and sleep. A good punching bag action gets me personally feeling refreshed and so does a good jog. Stress accumulates and anger does to but if you can let it out in the form of energy and calories you can be o.k. So take a jog, punch a bag, or play some soccer as long as you do something to explode energy out of your system without doing anything wrong you can keep from storing that energy and exploding in an awful moment. How should i control my anger?any suggestions beside taking anger management classes will be more then welcome
Exercise works well for me. Martial arts, yoga and running. Sometimes just going for long walks and hanging out in nature where I won't be heard and just allowing myself to vent. Learn some critical thinking skills and begin to consider the consequences of acting out before you find yourself behaving in ways you will later regret. I also spent a month in jail for fighting, once. Avoid this, if possible.
Take up sports. It helps to channel your anger into energy %26amp; you'll feel much better after a run or swim.

Better to stay healthy than suffer from high blood pressure from being angry all the time.
As cliche as it sounds, I work in retail and whenever someone is trying to hand me my a$$, I just take a deep breathe, or two, and smile. It makes you realize the trite of the situation and gives you a chance to rise above. Try it, I promise it works!
take a deep breathe and look at what your angry about. You have a choice on how you want to react.remember you have no control over other people, places or things. Its all about acceptance.the serenity to accept the things you cannot change, the courage to change the things you can(wich is yourself) and the wisdom to know the difference.change comes from within.
You should seek professional help before you commit some act in anger that might lead to incarceration.
i see. its good you acknowlegde the problem tat means tat yu wan to change. i had the prob b4. tat time i was to angry to wan to go to classes. so here's my tip. wat i did was i took a sport. i took up a hobby. learn relaxation tips. learn to look at things differently - to ways tat would make me laugh at life than be angry at it. comics help alot.
I,d suggest taking up sportsactivities also try not to think as yourself as the centre of the world.Keep in mind that anger is a natural reaction to injustice...so do not be too hard on yourself.

Try to identify the reason for your anger....and then try to think of somehing else.

I used to have these problems and I wish I would have taken anger management classes. You say you don't want to hear it but thats the only thing right now. or you can learn the hard way like me , i went to jail for 2 days for getting angry to the point where I hit someone and got battery charges against me , so my advice to you is take the classes
the best advise I can give to you is to walk away ,and get away from what it is that is bothering you .take a short walk or drive .anger is no good and I'm glad you want help .you will be OK

  • MS/HS Students or teachers -- are your classes getting wild and out of control now??

I'm new to teaching public school, and I wondered if this is ';normal'; for students to be so wild right now (late Feb.). I teach 8th grade, and spring fever usually started in -- uh -- spring at the private school where I used to teach.

What's up with this? I can barely get lessons in!!! I try hard not to be too boring.MS/HS Students or teachers -- are your classes getting wild and out of control now??
yes--it's February, the longest month of the year! (for teachers).

Everyone is tired of school. It's time to change things up in your class. Change seats. Change your method somewhat. (if you did a lot of group work, do individual. If you did individual, do group.) Some kind of project is good.

Also re-up your own discipline. You may have gotten to know your kids well and relaxed. Take a hard look at yourself. Are you letting little things slide? Try 'enforceable statements' a la Love and Logic. ';I grade papers that are turned in on time.'; ';I let quiet students stay in the class.'; (be sure you have a place to put a student it you take him out.) Two minutes in the hall is fine. (Pause, step out, Can you be quiet now? Will you be quiet now? Thank you. The will you is important.)

Anyway, we're all having it. It's minor chaos everywhere, but if you both make a change for a week or so and tighten the reigns (go back over your rules and procedures, or give a test on rules and procedures or something.) (See Harry Wong, The First day of School for the difference between rules and procedures). When there's sunlight again when you get to school and when you leave, you and the students will both feel better.

(Then the after spring break thing, when the only person working in the room is the teacher...well, don't get me started!)MS/HS Students or teachers -- are your classes getting wild and out of control now??
it isn't you...i thought i was going to kill at least 2 classes last week...i know in nyc, where i teach the big exams are over so the kids think the year is over...
I'm a senior in HS and three of my classes are loud and wild. For HS, it's not normal. For MS, maybe but mostly no. Sorry that I have no advice for you. I am like the most quiet student in all of my classes. lol Good luck out there!
Yep. Unruly classes seem to be more so in the US than in other countries. I've polled teachers online about this, and why they think that is. Closest conclusion that I can arrive at is that it is a cultural thing. US as a culture, lets kids make mistakes and the consequences are less harsh. US in general, spoils our kids more. Even the low-income students are spoiled. My low-income students can't afford to come to class with pencils or papers, but they all have an iPod and cell phone. Oprah had the best quote. See my link to see what she said.
Make sure that you are firm
As a substitute teacher, I have the opportunity to teach in many different schools. I actually prefer middle school because of the students' developing minds and personalities. What I can say is that how the students behave in your school has a relationship to how well the discipline system is enforced.

The school I worked at today has an administration that caters to the students' bad behavior (because they have such a ';bad '; life so far). It has an eight step program before any student is actually disciplined. The students that will misbehave know this and use it to their advantage. By the time a student gets to the eighth step, the teacher just doesn't care anymore and the disruptions in the classroom have destroyed any decent learning environment. This only encourages some of the remaining students to begin their downward spiral. And chances are good that the teacher won't even begin the process for the next misbehaving student. Some of the students in this school walk the halls whenever they want, come into class late, talk during instruction, and are openly defiant to teachers (especially the subs). They know nothing will come of it. And even if by some miracle they are suspended, it is only for three days and they are raised to hero status by their peers.

I have been to many good middle schools. It doesn't matter what the socio-economic status nor their state test scores may be. What has been important is what discipline system was in place and the administrations readiness to use it. As long as the students know that learning and teaching will not interrupted, the classes seem to go well.

I only tell you this because you need to really look at how the discipline system is designed and implemented at your school. Change what needs to be changed starting now. Or for your peace of mind, start looking for another place to teach.
    Strict

    Discipline is the key
ya all my classes are out of controll. especially ones at the end of the day
You need to work on your classroom management.Seasons have nothing to do with the behaviour of students, the teacher does!
Yes its normal but, I think the key is to put your foot down from the begining, Your there to teach and they are there to learn not to be friends etc.
My classes are getting louder now, too. At lunch this week, all of the teachers have been complaining. I think everyone is tired of school right now. Only two weeks until spring break for us - and we sure need it!
Discipline! If your children are unruly and out of control, warn them. If they continue, write them up and send them off to the office!

So. Compulsory parenting classes for parents that are failing to control their children...?

I'm not telling you my opinion(but trust me, I have one)....go on....vent that spleen-in either direction! So. Compulsory parenting classes for parents that are failing to control their children...?
I havent heard this. Is it an American or British idea? Im an Aussie.

So I'm guessing they are planning on sending parents of teenagers to these classes after the teenagers have been caught commiting a crime? In my view, then its probally too late! If some crap parent starts trying to use supernanny techniques on some delinquent 15year old, theyre just going to get a mouthful of abuse.

Really, by the time teenagers start becoming an obvious problem and they are not being 'controlled' by their parents, it really is a case of too little too late!

It should start right from the word go - when theyre young. At my kids school the other day, a 4year old (the naughtiest boy in the class) was swearing at all the kids. One of the kids went up and told his mum. Her response? Nothing. She said ';If I dont see it, I dont call it';. What the heck does that mean??? Her kid just learnt to misbehave where mum cant see him, and too bad for the rest of us. Those of us who wouldve marched our kid away, given him a stern talking to and made him apologise to the rest of the kids. But no. She didnt see it so she does nothing. You can almost guarantee a future juvenile delinquent.

Maybe we need 'parenting police'. Im only half joking. For all those mums in the supermarket who say no to a lolly. Then after the kid has whinged loud and long enough - gives in and says 'oh alright then'. The parenting police should whip out their badge, say ';you just taught your child that no doesnt mean no, it just means act badly and it'll become yes'; and then snatch the lolly off the kid!

Yes I know these are small things but kids have to learn that what mum and dad says is law. They learn this from birth. It is insane to suggest parenting classes once the kid is already messed up. Better off from birth for these clueless parents.

Most of us watch supernanny and go 'der'. Obvious obvious stuff. But clearly some people have no idea. They should be made to watch hours and hours of repeats of her show! That's a better (and cheaper) idea.So. Compulsory parenting classes for parents that are failing to control their children...?
What a waste of time effort and money!

why not put more police ';ON THE STREETS'; and get them to react to calls from the public with a good responsiveness.
Its about time, I think the parents need to have more control on their children. ASBO's just are not working, they were never going to work.
Really good idea. If its part of the solution and not the entire solution.

With so many young people having their own children and didn't have the best homes themselves, then how can we assume they are going to know how to be parents? Even people with the best intentions can get parenting wrong, so what harm can education do? Knowledge empowers people. If society starts with teaching children to behave then we should have less criminals. (fingers crossed)

The problem comes in as who decides on the parenting techniques?

Would love to hear your opinion
Absolutely and it should be against the law if they skip classes.
I agree with you. It's not the children that are the problem, it's the parents not teaching the children or taking the time to deal with the issues. It's sad because kids know when their parents don't like and so do other children.
Having been a probation officer and now a social worker, I must say that I have often asked the question.... why are there no parenting classes for parents? And I do not mean for problem kids but for a lot of us too! A lot of parents are ';handed'; a baby and told to get on with it! Some struggle on, others can't cope, etc. Why not provide such a service and help parents and children to have a better life and be good people in our society? I think it is about this time came about. The question is how is it going to be implemented? How are parents going to be chosen? What approach is going to be used? I think that potentially is an excellent idea but it will depend how it is put into practice.
Another crackpot Idea from a Gov that has lost total control If this lot was the crew of a ship would you get on it
The classes will be packed out for starters.

Maybe they should have the classes for pregnant women and their partners then they could stop the problem before it starts?

Personally, I dont think classes will make any difference, most parents are too lazy to control their children, its easier just to let them run riot and I dont think there is any other excuse for it.

If many Christians are against abortion, why don't they agree with sex ed classes that teach birth control?

I know you guys don't want teens having sex. But you also talk about how sick and horrible abortions are. If you truly believe abortions are murder, isn't risking unmarried sex a lot better than murder?

I truly don't understand how people so concerned with the number of abortions every year are against teaching proper birth control methods that would prevent many of these abortions. If many Christians are against abortion, why don't they agree with sex ed classes that teach birth control?
These people think differently than a lot of us.If many Christians are against abortion, why don't they agree with sex ed classes that teach birth control?
Because it would make sense? LOL

Just kidding there, but seriously, just because a few religions teach that sex is only to be within their form of marriage, and even then only for the purpose of procreation does not mean that the rest of the world has to abide by *their* beliefs. Parents have always had the option to ';opt out'; of their kids taking the sex ed course, so it's really not that big of a deal. They just want to decide what other people's kids can get taught too.

And some of the answers on abortion questions around here just make me physically ill. Not everyone who's has an abortion has been promiscuous or ';easy.'; Some were being responsible but their birth control failed. Some have health conditions that make pregnancy even more life-threatening than it already is, and some of those same health conditions don't allow them to use the more reliable hormonal birth control methods. Close your legs til you're married? Well what about married couples who don't want kids? Oh wait, that's ';wrong'; too isn't it? They should just have to be celibate all their lives... NOT!

People just need to realize that they don't get to make decisions for anyone but themselves. :)
sex ed is teaching kids the dangers and risks of having sex. that has nothing to do with killing an innocent child. im not denying teen pregnancy doesnt exist cuz that would be a lie. but at least they were warned about the consequences they KNEW what they were getting into when they decide to have sex. if sex ed wasnt taught i think there would be alot more pregnancies and then there would be a reason for kids getting an abortion. but if you have that knowledge then you take on that responsibility of knowing that you can in fact produce a child, then you should take the responsibility and either take care of that child or give the child up for an adoption
I get where your heart is, it's in the right place. And it makes sense...and this question isn't really addressed to me because I'm a pagan. However I can say, I don't care about sex ed classes because I know I've taught my kids about sex. Yes I know you are concerned about those kids who's parents aren't talking to their kids about sex, however I can safely say most parents just want their kids to learn how to read and write more than how to use a condom.
Because sex and birth control issues should be discussed with parents and their teenagers, not in a class with teachers. It is the responsibility of the parents to teach these things to their kids.

For all those people giving me thumbs down...You don't think it is the parents responsibility to raise your own children and teach them about sex and birth control. Well. I surely wouldn't leave this to teachers who don't care for my kids like I do.
The only birth control that is 100% effective is abstinence. When schools teach that I'll agree with them. But they teach it as a side note. They don't go into the physical or emotional and psychological damage that can and does occur from premarital sex. They focus more on birth control devices and that it's okay to have sex.
I don't have this mindset as some other Christians do. I know that this is the 21st century and times have changed so much. Teens need sex education at home yes, but lets face the facts, not all parents are good parents. All methods including abstinence should be taught in schools.
Abstinence doesn't work, and birth control/sex ed classes are the only way of ensuring that kids practice safe sex when they do. I'd also like to say that I had sex ed in seventh grade as part of the Life Science curriculum, and I never had sex.

EDIT: I also don't agree that sex ed should be the sole responsibility of parents. My parents never explained sex to me because they are conservative Christians; everything I learned about sex, the state taught me. And there are a lot of parents like mine.
i don't think they really want to lower rates of teen pregnancy. for the white girls, they want to create a huge adoption market of healthy caucasian infants and the rest of the kids they figure will make good cannon fodder for their wars.
Because they are against things that are proven to reduce abortion, and for things that drive it underground.

When a poor woman dies at the hands of a charlatan, they are happy.
These are the folks who want to legislate morality. They want everyone to live by their own standards (which often they don't live up to themselves).
they want to live in a little bubble world where everybody is abstainant
I always enjoy turning a secularist's arguments around on them. FOR INSTANCE, the homosexual defense goes something like this:

(From a family member: I was always against homosexuality until I found out my son was gay. Now I support him completely.) Oh? So, something is wrong unless your son does it and then it suddenly becomes right? So, if your son becomes a murderer then murder will be okay too?

This is fun! Let's try it with YOUR argument. First of all, let's be clear. Liberals have decided that they want to parent for Christians. They want to outlaw spanking, because they don't like it. They want to ban virtually any public voices of faith and reverance for God, because ... they don't like it. Etc. One of the ways they try to achieve this end is by slapping the word ';education'; on ANYTHING that they feel they know best to ';teach'; (indoctrinate) our kids. Focus on the FIRST word ... sex. SEX is a subject for school? Are you kidding me?! We've go from reading, writing, and 'rithmatic, and maybe a little history to teaching ... sex?! Suffice it to say, my FIRST position is that sex is not a subject for school. I'm soooooooooo tired of hearing the ';what if'; justification for ';sex education';: What if parents don't teach their children? Let's see ... with the schools teaching our children, teenage pregnancies are out of control. What's the downside of parents NOT teaching their kids about sex?

Okay, I haven't turned the argument around on you ... yet. You say that isn't it better to teach the children to do the dirty deed in a responsible way than it is to have them ... slippery slope time: Get pregnant, not want the baby, and have an abortion?

Using your reasoning then we should bring crime education into our school system. After all, YOU SAY that our prisons are over crowded. Isn't it ';better'; to teach the kids to rob and murder responsibly than it is to risk having them get caught? It cost a FORTUNE in court costs to try them and much more to incarcerate them. I mean, they're going to commit crimes ANYWAY. So, why not teach them to be smarter about it?

In case you don't get it, I'll spell it out for you:

    1. Sin is defined as distance from God. Yes, yes, YES, it's terrible that a unwed teen would want to kill her unborn baby. It's terrible that she foolishly engaged in risky and immoral sex to make a baby that she doesn't want and now doesn't think twice about killing it. Absolutely horrible. But if you understood for one second how Christians feel about unwed sex then you would know that we CANNOT tell our children, ';Don't have sex. But ... if you must, here is how to do it without getting pregnant.'; It's an insane position.

    2. Which is precisely why I drew the analogy with teaching kids to get away with crimes. ';Don't commit murder, but if you do, here's how to cover it up so you don't get caught.';

    Right....
    %26lt;%26lt;If many Christians are against abortion, why don't they agree with sex ed classes that teach birth control?%26gt;%26gt;

The human race has been procreating via sex for 200,000 years.

Thanks to so-called ';sex ed'; this is the first generation - after all that time - to be surprised adn even appalled at the fact sex leads to pregnancy!

The logic couldn't be more simple. You don't want to get pregnant, abstain from sex. One doesn't need to take a sex ed class to figure that out.

    %26lt;%26lt;I know you guys don't want teens having sex. But you also talk about how sick and horrible abortions are. If you truly believe abortions are murder, isn't risking unmarried sex a lot better than murder?%26gt;%26gt;

All you're doing here is attempting to justify the evil of contraception by pointing to the evil of abortion. Abortion and artificial contraception are absolutely morally unacceptable on account they are both affronts to the dignity of human life.

    %26lt;%26lt;I truly don't understand how people so concerned with the number of abortions every year are against teaching proper birth control methods that would prevent many of these abortions.%26gt;%26gt;

The problem here is that you don't see how artificial contraception constitutes an affront to the dignity of human life.

Also, you are ignoring the fact that Christianity teachings abstinence until marriage.

Are you the product of sex ed? You probably are because it's clear you have no idea what sex is. You see it as a form of entertainment; a civil right.

I see it for what it is, a Sacred Act; the Consumation of the Marital Union. Until you see sex in this light, you'll never understand.
I think its due to some Christians seeing birth-control methods such as the contraceptive pill as being (almost) as bad as abortion.

All contraception is interrupting the natural function of sex (procreation) and so is 'unnatural'. Christians who don't agree with birth control would say the purpose of sex is to have kids, and sex should only be had in a relationship where kids are welcomed (i.e. for them marriage).

Just saying it how some people see it. I've got not beef with contraception or abortion!
So, you go into a class of teenagers and show them how to put a condom on, what do you think they will do after they leave school?I went to school in the fifties and we never had ';sex'; education and I still managed to have 4 kids and 9 grandkids. And we never heard of anyone having VD or anything else like that. And girls were in control of their bodies. That is why liberals pushed abortion because they opened up a can of worms with their sex '; education'; and abortion was just another for of birth control for them. It doesn't matter to their twisted thinking that they are killing babies. Just sweep the pregnancy problem under the rug.But that is what the ungodly do.
your already defeated. how about no sex until married.there are over 25 std.and it is rampant.there are some that don't show up till 10 years later.and people say how did i get that, after there married.GOD will not be mocked a man reaps what he sows.
The only classes I would support is on abstinence only.
No, because in sex ed today, all they do is throw condoms at kids and encourage promiscuity. Their excuse is, ';Well, they're just going to do it anyway, so we may as well encourage 'safe sex'.'; For one thing, there's no such thing as ';safe sex'; outside of monogamous marriage. It's a myth. Secondly, the attitude that ';they're just going to do it anyway'; presupposes that teenagers are just animals who are incapable of thinking for themselves or controlling their own behavior - that their behavior is just instinctive and they can't help it. So they basically treat them like dogs and cats that need to be spayed and neutered.

There are a lot of teens out there who consciously make the decision to save themselves for marriage, and don't seem to have a problem controlling their own libido.

Another point is that sex ed in public schools is funded by Planned Parenthood, which is a money-grubbing corporation that knows that increased premaritial sex leads to more unintended pregnancies, which leads to more abortions at several hundred dollars a pop, which means more $$$$ in their pockets. This is exactly why they are against abstinence, which has a 100% success rate in prevention of pregnancies and STDs. Their method has a very low rate of success, which turns into more profits for them. Also, it is wrong to think that women who had abortions ';didn't know'; how not to get pregnant. That's an outright lie. 60% of women who have abortions were on the Pill when they got pregnant.

Throwing condoms and pills at teenagers is not the solution. Sex Ed is the responsibility of the parents, not a system with an agenda.

Are there any classes for out of control teens?

I am very worried about my daughter shes only in 6th grade but she looks like shes 16 nobody thinks shes her age, she ';hangs out'; with people who have boy friends and girl friends, they kiss, ive seen her kiss. She doesnt care, ive tried talking to her, she wont open up, i caught her smoking, and drinking, and im very very very concerned.

Many of the people that go to her school are having sex and smoking pot.... And i think she might be one of them....I have tried sooo hard to keep her life as wholesome as possible and i dont know what went wrong......Is there any classes that she can take? Are there any classes for out of control teens?
If your work schedule can be adjusted, consider home schooling her or picking her up right after school each day and doing something with her? It doesn't have to be elaborate or expensive, make it fun and stress-free for both of you. Check your community's free activities on the internet or the paper. Is there a park where you can walk in together, for example? Local concerts, acoustic guitar players at bookstores/coffee shops. museums, aquariums are not always free but worth looking into into. Even going to yard or garage sales on saturday (excellent opportunities to socialize casually) and having her help pick out the groceries..having her help plan meals and help you prepare them. You're doing it together, she feels like a valued member of the household and your letting her know her opinion is important to you (real grown-ups don't hang out kiss and smoke, they make decisions and work to get the best out of life) ....

She will probably rebel at first but you will get your daughter back and through this experience, she will find something she likes like perhaps an interest in learning to play a musical instrument. If you don't belong to a church, go to the nearest Universalist Unitarian church. They are open to all religions and have enjoyable ';sunday school'; classes and activities and opportunities for teens and grownup to do things for the community. She will met new friends.

You have the right to tell her she is not allowed to hang out with certain people. Doing this combined with spending time with her and helping her discover other fascinating things that life has to offer I believe is the key.

The way our society and economy is structured, it's as if our culture has declared war on parents. Most parents have to spend most of their waking time working. Most mothers are doing it alone. So we are at the mercy of ';mediocre at best'; school systems and shaky peer groups or daycares and after cares, etc. People in our culture are not raising their children anymore. These other entities are. Entities that dont love them. Entities that often times abuse them. People dont know where their children are and what they are doing,. People don't even know their children anymore.

Don't let you and your young daughter be the next causality of the war on parents. She is your daughter. You are her mother. Get her back!

If you would like to email me and let me know your zip code or city I would be happy to research some great things for you two do do in your area. if you want to let me know a little bit more about your self (your work schedule, the amount of support you have from friends and family, etc, maybe I can make some helpful suggestions for you and we can come up with some more specific ideas.

There's a book about the war on parents written by Cornell West. If you google him, you will find the book. Read the synopsis. it is very affordable used on Amazon. Are there any classes for out of control teens?
Classes? What kind of classes are you talking about?

Do you actually think that her pleasure-seeking behavior is really due to a lack of information? Compromise - give her permission to smoke all the wants, but no drinking except a little wine with dinner at home with you. Tell her that if she stays away from sex with boys until she is 15, you will let her start dating then.
Take her to the police station and, have an officer talk to her about drugs n' drinking. Then have see a jail cell.

If that doesn't scare her straight, send her to reform school.
take her to the maury show or boot camp?

lol no i am just kidding.

how about trying to google it?

Or look in your local phone book.

How do girls manage to control pee during classes without going to toilet?

grHow do girls manage to control pee during classes without going to toilet?
bladder control or somethin like thatHow do girls manage to control pee during classes without going to toilet?
    Several techniques:

Managing the timing of water intake..

Planning well - focus on classes
    It's called bladder control, man.
You shouldn't hold it anyway, not good for anyone to do that. Try not drinking so much.
They do it by pressing thighs together ,thus closing the opening.
Women are more self-conscious, While we guys don't mind visiting the toilet every hour. I don't tink they feel the same way...

Also, on an average a woman's bladder is smaller than a man's bladder. They don't have any extra muscles, I don't think anyone do any exercise for this (even if there are).

It's all about self-control and managing when you consume extra liquids... Basically it's all in the mind.
    girls pee before start class.
how is this profiting u? knowing this...
    how old are you?
What a random and not important question...!
get a check up with a urologist. you may be having a bladder stone.
See a doctor there are bladder exercises, in most cases 1 per hour is a normal event in many cases(male or female).

Help if you do not drink water or any drink, after passing, the water but try to take water before meals,1 or 2 minutes later eat the food.
Women can control their urge to urinate by the muscles in the vagina. There are things such as keigel excercises to strengthen the muscles in the vagina.

  • How do I deal with a controlling roommate who out ranks me and is in the same class?

Ok, i'm in the Navy and this guy and I are really alike. We're both the type that likes to be in control. So we're constantly butting heads. And since he out ranks me, he always wins. That and for some reason he has to be right. He never admits when he screws up. What do I do?How do I deal with a controlling roommate who out ranks me and is in the same class?
Just think of this as close quarters practice in getting along with another human being for an extended length of time. Since you both like to be in charge it will be a battle to the death over every little thing. You may want to set some rules together and figure out how to be type A in the same house. Usually in life opposites attract so you may get a better deal next time if you get to choose the roomie. I am alpha and very territorial and independent so I have a lot to work on myself. I do well with a good natured person with a great sense of humor and is kind of a goofball. It is a shame about the rank but he should check that in at the front door. It's not fair to you! Best of luck to you!!How do I deal with a controlling roommate who out ranks me and is in the same class?
    work towards a higher rank
ignore, and try to stay out of his way.
Ignore him, he should be the least of your worries. If anything, talk your concerns through with him, and see if you both can come to a conclusion.

    Good luck!
Play the game, my friend. Go along with him in a manner that convinces him 'your idea' was 'his idea', establish his trust in you, and then you'll likely get your own way in the long run.
Set some reasonable boundaries, and go way out of proportion apesh*t whenever he crosses them, never sweat the small stuff.

Explain visibility controls used in java? define abstract class with examples in java?

I think, when they ask 'visibility' they must be referring to access modifiers. I hope u know arrays by now???

    MyThings[] o = {Ball, Bat, Bike,... };

if that is just an array, then only a number will access the elements of that array. The number is called an 'index' and it is in square brackets o[2] would fetch Bike.

An Object is a fancy array, we fetch with a name instead of number. We can control the 'visibility' of both the Object and its members with the keywords:

public, private, [none, the default], protected

but the textbook term is 'access modifier'Explain visibility controls used in java? define abstract class with examples in java?

I NEED HELP CONTROLLING MY DAYCARE CLASS!?

I just started a new job at a day care and my first day went grate but then things want south they started to test me and see what my weakness were and they found them. now they think they can just get away with everything i talked to my mangers and they said that i had to be tough with them, so I have been and its starting to work but i need some ideas for games to play so they will listen to me more.I NEED HELP CONTROLLING MY DAYCARE CLASS!?
I am a teacher so I understand about unruly children. Do you have any sort of punishment/reward system set up? It could be as simple as putting their name on the board under a happy face if they are well behaved and sad face if they are being bad. Punishments for having their name under the sad face could be time out, missing play time, etc. Rewards might be stickers, extra play time, etc.

Kids also have short attention spans, especially if they are young. I don't know what age you are teaching but I have been told that their attention span is only as long in minutes as their age. A 5 year old will be able to do one activity for 5 minutes before he gets bored and starts acting out.

For young kids you can play duck duck goose, ring around the rosy, sing, play freeze tag

for slightly older kids who are reading you can play hangman, go fish, war, and have quiet reading time or read to them! kids of all ages also love coloring, doing mazes, word puzzles, word searches, and crossword puzzles. You can find these online and print them or buy a book and make copies.

If you give me the ages of your kids, I can give some more suggestions. Lastly, your managers are right- you need to be tough with them. Show them you are in charge and they will have punishments if they misbehave.

Good luck!!!!I NEED HELP CONTROLLING MY DAYCARE CLASS!?
Children will test as many waters as they are allowed. The key is to be consistent and never waiver. Also important is the classroom structure and the teamwork of the teachers in the classroom. Children can sense if you are tense or nervous, so try walking in at the beginning of your shift with a strong, positive attitude. Children love to sing, so try interactive songs like ';Hokey Pokey'; or ';If You're Happy and You Know It.'; It will show them that you care and you like to have fun as well as being the boss!
Don't ever let them be bored. Try to do a lot of group projects so you can control them as a group. Then once they know you better and your rules you can trust them to play on their own away from you. Just be firm and consistent, but be fair.
Be firm and be consistent. Say what you mean, and mean what you say - and stand behind it.

If you threaten punishment - follow through.

If you tell them to stop doing something - enforce it.

  • Describe Access control in inherited classes - C++?

Access control for inheritence means how much do others have access to members of the class from which a given class is inherited from.

For instance, if B is derived from A, can other classes and classes drived from B see the members of A?

Well, if B is derived from A publically, then everyone can reference the public members of A through B.

If B is derived from A protected, then only classes direived from B can see the public and protected members of A.

If B is derived from A privately, only B can see the members of A. No one else, including other classes, global functions, and classes inherited from B, can see the members of B (regardless if those members themselves are declared private, public or protected.)Describe Access control in inherited classes - C++?

C#: How do I access the form controls from the code of a new class?

    Windows form or web form?

    [EDIT]

You could actually pass a reference to your form to your new Class. From there, you can easily iterate the Control collection of the form.

    public class MyClass

    {

//Change the default constructor to accept a Form object as a parameter

    public MyClass(Form MyForm)

    {

    foreach(Control c in MyForm.Controls)

    {

    //Do something here

    }

    }

    }

In your form, you may instantiate the MyClass object like so:

MyClass objClass = new MyClass(this);C#: How do I access the form controls from the code of a new class?
create a function in the new class that accepts the form controls as parameters. when you call the function from your code-behind, you just pass in the form control and go from there!C#: How do I access the form controls from the code of a new class?

Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?

Around here the classes are so disrupted by the kids who don't learn ,won't and don't want to learn, that I think parents would freak if they knew how bad it is.It isn't normal and should be stopped. How is it there where you are? In school people please. Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
My mom used to teach middle school but quit because of the lack of support from the principal/administration. She would have all levels in her class from gifted to special needs and everything in between. The gifted were bored, the special needs were lost and the normal/average kid got nothing because the others were disruptive. Parents would blame the school system, the other kids play the race card and everything else except they didn't hold their child accountable.

No child left behind sounds good in theory but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd like to see what would happen if kids were grouped by ability in core classes. Would grades improve because the others in your class would be at your ability level and you wouldn't have to feel 'stupid' for not understanding.

Too many good teachers are leaving the profession due to lack of support and low pay. When are people going to wake up and take a stand?!!!Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
yeah, in england where im from its just the same

you just get used to it, theres no point kicking up a fuss about it coz its been like this for ages, it'll never change
    definately...

my school is pretty bad for that, my last years earth science class, the teacher had no control over it at all... the students who wanted to learn found it very difficult and the rest of us (most of the class) found it funny....

i think its definately getting worse, possibly because teachers allow it, and parents ignore it when they are notified of their teen misbehaving....

in school suspensions would help lots... like writing essays all day in a small room with nothing but a desk, chair, pen and paper...

i know i'd hate that... and try to not distrupt class... but I also have ADD (attention deficit disorder) and that makes it really difficult to sit thru an entire class... plus our classes are 80mins long which is way too long and part of the problem...
No, not normally. I'm 17 and in my last year of high school and it's by choice if you want to be there. If you don't want to be there you can just leave and get a job.

There are the odd few who still go to school when they don't want to be, but they just wag and go off driving somewhere.

    I live in New Zealand.

When student from younger classes misbehave we often get them referred into our classes. They do disrupt our class and we have to put up with their rude attitudes and taking up our valuable learning time!!

This always annoyed me when I was younger too.
trust me when I say that this has been going on since the begining of time..

I went to school with kids that would try to start a fist fight with the teacher and if that did not work they would throw chairs and tables around the room. One kid passed out, One kid peed in the corner.. One girl chased another girl down the hallway with a knife... It was a normal day...
yes, thats how my school is. unless you are in all advanced classes, but unforunately i only got into some advanced classes, not all :(
I say kids that refuse to learn should drop out.

They're a waste of space and time.

Okay. I think most do change, but for the ones that don't...

    -_______-
I actually quit my high school, got my GED and went on to college, two years before i should have graduated, because the high school i was at was pretty much a piece of crap. Kids got away with everything, cussing at teachers, talking in class. I mean some kids couldn't get the concept that some of us were actually there to learn. It was horrible. I couldn't stand to see kids my age acting that way and then being put in that category just because we were in the same grade or age.

I have to write an essay about this and get feedback from the public...so I would like to hear your thoughts. The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
Well, if I am correct...I think that Abercrombie owns Hollister...and sadly these companies display pictures of barely clothed people modeling in the pictures in their stores. I think that this advocates a certain class of people or at least appeals to a certain generation that is widely influenced by sex and provocativeness. I also think that they only want rich or people who are so branded by today's marketing and advertising that they will spend so much money just to fit into a class of people who can afford to waste money. The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
Well, i personally think that hollister stuff all looks the same and i think that if u really want to spend that much money on some holey pants and a shirt that is super thin, go for it. But my younger sister seems to think in order to be popular u have to look like hollister and buy their clothing, and basically... we can't afford that. So in a sense Hollister sets society apart: the people willing to splurge on clothing, and those who dress according to their budget and their lifestyle, because hollister all looks the same (beachy)
i guess i really dont understand what your asking, but i honestly can say that i dont care much for hollister because with their stores if your not tall and super skinny then your not going to find any clothes that fit you. so maybe that will help you out some. im not sure!

  • What do you class as being controlled by your man?

when he keeps tabs on you like where your going and how long you'll be gone. and is constantly ordering you around like a slave. What do you class as being controlled by your man?
If you don't feel that you can stand up to him, that your voice is heard equally, and that you call some of the shots, there is a problem.

Most of these people think relationships are about ';not letting anyone tell me what to do....'; that's why you all fail at relationships.

Marriage, relationships... ALL ABOUT COMPROMISE AND RESPECT. You might have to say, I won't talk to my ex boyfriend anymore because my real man doesn't want me to. That is not controlling, that is being a good partner. The problems come when he thinks he can still talk to his ex if you have asked him not to.

It's about give and take, honey.

Express some needs to your man. Say, ask him to make you some dinner one night and bring it to you in bed. Or ask him to wear a certain shirt one day if he gets on you about your clothes. If he willingly pleases you (and not all the time, men and women are not servants after all, just enough of the time for you to feel cared for), then he is a keeper. If he cannot please you, he is selfish and not really in love. Let him go.

Also... MANY men ';control'; and in fact dominate when a woman does not respect herself and ask for him to compromise for her. Men LOVE to be with women who know what they want and are not afraid to ask for it/get it.

A healthy relationship doesn't mean he changes you or you change him, but you GROW together, support EACHOTHER, and yes, control some aspects of eachother's lives.

Happily married womanWhat do you class as being controlled by your man?
Any man that needs to know where you are each and every minute of every day and who your with. A man that checks your cell phone to see who called you or texted you. A man that you have to ask permission to go out with your friends. Be yourself and live your life and never ever let a man control your life.

What do you class as being controlled by your man?
when he keeps tabs on you like where your going and how long you'll be gone. and is constantly ordering you around like a slave.

This girl in my class is so controlling over the guy she is dating how do i tell her to get a life?

It's not really your problem. If you try to intervene, you'll most likely be told to ';mind your own business';This girl in my class is so controlling over the guy she is dating how do i tell her to get a life?
whats the guy to you? unless he family or your best friend, and even with that you don't have any rights to talk to the girl.what you can do is to tell the guy to wise up.

Does a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?

i know that a HGV driver should never jacknife but in rare circumstances if he has to brake and stop fast he should perform a controlled jacknife.

this answers my second question 'a controlled jacknife will stop a truck faster then pumping the brakes and slowing'

technology is different now i know so it applies to ever being the case.

thanksDoes a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?
There is no such thing as a controlled jacknife. In fact, a jacknife is the one thing in this world that shows a total loss of control.

I was taught in 1976 that it only takes 1/5 of a second for a rolling rig to go into a full jacknife, and if that happens the only thing you can do is kick it out of gear and hold on.

As far as pumping the brakes, that will bleed off your air supply and when that happens it will lock up your brakes. Then you're in a world of trouble.

Modern trucks are equipped with ABS. If you hit the brakes and the pedal starts to pulse and the truck makes noises that sound like ';psst psst psst'; the ABS is working to keep your wheels from locking up. Don't pump your brakes.

Of course, if you're already in that type of situation, you're already driving slow enough that you don't have anything to worry about.Does a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?
Whoever told you, you can perform a controlled jackknife is full of crap. The only controlled jackknife is when you jackknife the truck into a dock or parking spot.

A jackknifing tractor/trailer is about the most out of control situation you can ever be in, in a truck. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to control or correct the situation. You will have drivers tell you that you can gas on it or use the trolley valve to pull it out of a jackknife, but I can guarantee you, they have never been in the situation and they don't know what they are talking about. When a tractor trailer starts jackknifing, from the time it starts, to the time it's all over with is split seconds. It isn't enough time for you to comprehend what is happening and react to it. Even if there was anything you could do, there is no time to do it.
No because they are thought to not get into that situation, however being in that situation before, it's all about perception %26amp; what is called brake lag. Perception is the time for the mind to see a problem %26amp; tell the leg to step on the brakes. Brake lag is the time for the leg to apply the brakes till the brakes actually engage. No matter what anyone says, there's no such thing as a ';controlled jackknife'; because every situation is different.

  • Can i nest controls in a class in VB?

    Class Player

    public lblName as new Label

    public cmdTakeSeat as new CommandButton

    End Class

Also if not correct syntax let me know. Can i nest controls in a class in VB?
nope....would not work, u know you can run the program to see if there are mistakes and what not and it will show you the line of code where you messed up.

Do you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?

I was thinking about becoming one, but according to my kids it may be a bad idea.Do you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?
Dude you have to take control. I've had substitute teachers that were total pushovers cuz they didn't know what they were doing and I've had some that were strict. It's up to youDo you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?
lol... if u be tough enough u may get the kids to respect u.... i'd say teach 3-4th graders. They are old enough to understand what is good and what is bad. But be tough on them. I would let them watch some sort of fun movie, and let them sit wherever they want. But tell them they have three warnings. After the third warning, turn off the movie and give them all boring worksheets. That way, they know you arent the stupid and boring kind of substitute.
yeah right? does that actually happen?
When I was kid, we always gave the substitute a hard time. Like one time, my class had a sub named Mr. Wooley. So, someone wrote Mammoth after his name when he wasn't looking. So, I'd say you shouldn't become a substitute. None of the kids take subs seriously.
My best friend is a substitute teacher and is often complimented on her teaching abilities and is told that she is better than the standard teacher. (This is on medium to long term covers rather than one-day-let's-just-play-games cover)

I think how the children act is a reflection on the teacher's skills.
I remember in school - 20 years ago.

We really did not take them seriously.

I dont think it has gotten any better the way the schools are

    today.
    no
It's all in how you present yourself to the class on if they will respect you or not. You must have rules but still be the cool substitute so they will want you back....

Just let them know who is boss and you are not there to take any crap or games, and that they are still there to learn. Just make it fun!!

    GL
No. All of our subs in school would just let us watch movies and the class got out of control.
substitute teachers? oh man well im a student and we actually are like yaaaaa substitute! and we do the funniest things, and switch our names around and once my friend pretended he didn't speak any english and well, i think you get the picture they don't really have much control, there was this one and whenever she wasn't looking people would leave the classroom! But if your nice and kind of strict at the same time you will have control, i've seen it happen, but there are always going to be some uncontrollable classes.

There has been self awareness and mind control classes going on since the late 60s. Most of them with a week?

long course will devote the last two days for finding our psychic abilities, After many exorcises fine tuning your visualization skills, you give a shot at what they call cases,

Cases are when a person knows someone else has something wrong with them either mental or physical, They give you the name of this person, the age of this person, and where they live, What happens for most folks who take the course is they will get this person up on a screen they built in their mind during the visualization exorcises They scan the person and if the see something out of the norm like powered in the joints or the eyes are grey or a clock where the heart is they make Reference points of these things for future references, but at first they can only guess what they mean but a very educated guess, like the powder could be arthritis. The grey eyes can be cataracts, the clock where the heart is a pace maker. Then you tell the person who gave you this person to scan what it is you see, after understanding what your references points are you can become very good at seeing what is ailing these folks. and of course before you are finished with the scan you fix up what is wrong with these folks, it sounds silly but it seems to work Do you think this kind of psychic stuff comes from the devil? There has been self awareness and mind control classes going on since the late 60s. Most of them with a week?
Things that don't actually exist can't come from something else that doesn't actually exist.

    Control classes???

my gf broke up with me b/c she thinks i'm just too controlling. she says if i take some class or go to therapy, she will give me another chance. and i'm willing to do it. where do you find these classes or therapies? possible group therapy??Control classes???
First read this article about control freaks (not meant as an insult) http://www.ec-online.net/knowledge/Artic鈥?/a> (maybe you can pass it on to your gf, too).

You should look up Google for anxiety or anger management classes in your area.

What kind of insurance do you have? If you have Kaiser, they got group therapy classes, very affordable.

In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?

its there first time and at first they were offered 3 to life but plead not guilty.. what do you think they can get now??In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?
5 - 10 years. In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?
Well well, a first time offender and such a serious charge to boot! In NY it seems entirely possible that your friends are looking at about 2 years to 10-15 years, that is what is so difficult to figure sentences, the US has ';roaming'; sentence ranges where Canada's are set. I do know if they'd have done it in Canada they'd get less time and HAVE to be released at 2/3 of the sentence to a halfway house.
the guns are good for a year at Rikers no matter what. Since they want to play hardball and go to trial, expect anywhere from 20 - 30 years since they have a simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

    Hopefully 3 to life!

Drugs %26amp; guns... geeze what a bunch of losers and a threat to civilized people! If the judge has any smarts, he'll lock them up for as long as he can!

Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?

citizen Iinclude African Americans in this group using New Orleans black voter numbers as an example and why does the U.S. deny universal suffrage ,are they afraid the poor might not vote for the chattering classes.Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?
The poor and the new don't know how to read.Do you want them to vote for your party. They were the ones making the mistakes in Florida in the 2000 election.Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?
    And your proof is?
No, nobody is denied voter registration - if you're eligible to vote, you can easily register.

If you're too lazy to get a job, you're probably too lazy to register to vote.
Ok, come on, now. How can anyone deny voter registration to ANYONE these days? The NAACP would be all over that, as would the ACLU. Do you have any examples with actual facts that you can provide?
No citizen of the US is denied voting rights.
Might I ask where in the world you folks come up with this stuff? Do you suck it out of your thumb?

NO PERSON is denied the right to vote. It's a matter of registering and heading to the polls.
No one is denied the right to vote, as long as you are a citizen. In fact, most states now use the ';motor voter'; system--when you obtain/renew your driver's license you are automatically registered to vote.

The real question for most people is ';can I leave work to vote, since most elections are held on Tuesday?';. Technically, your employer has to allow you enough time to go vote, but if this really concerns you then vote early. If your employer won't let you vote, then call some organization like ACORN.
    no, STOP LISTENING TO MOONBATS!
    No.

Poor ? I did not know you had to make any money to vote. I have not had to pay to vote ever.

New ? Aren't they Americans. If they are illegal then, NO. If you have made no obligation to this country. If you pay no taxes. You need not vote.
give me a freeking break. As a black woman, I disagree with your 100%.

Registering to vote is so easy a caveman can do it.

NO ONE IS BEING DENIED AS THAT WOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW
Any citizen of the United States has the right to vote. To register they need only go to the board of canvassers in the city or town that they live in and fill out some simple forms. There isn't any discrimination when it comes to actually registering and voting. The reasons that the numbers look the way they do and why there is extremely poor turnout of voters, nationwide, is general apathy on the part of the registered voters. Nobody is stopping anyone from voting however we are not going to force people to vote either. The option is there for anyone they just have to have the self motivation to actually participate.
    What middle class?
Nobody denies anything to eligible voters. That means if you are a legal citizen of this country then you are eligible to vote. Your lies no longer work, take them on down the road.

Find a lawyer, get it reduced to possession, drop the trafficking. Having a controlled substance, D felony might not be able to drop. If so, he'll pay fines, ordered to attend substance abuse class. But depending on the lawyer and prosecutor, they may be able to grease palms and get it reduced to possession.

I'll be taking a class which requires a digital camera with manual controls, which camera should I buy?

The cameras that I'm considering are the Pentax K110D, Sony DSC H2 and the Nikon D40. I am just a beginner. Thanks.I'll be taking a class which requires a digital camera with manual controls, which camera should I buy?
Tes, you are going to need a DSLR for this class

Get a Nikon or Canon (used is not a bad way to go to start). You will later be able to find some good used lenses for it. Instead of the D40, take a look at the D80. It will use more of the older lenses than the D40.

Sony is out because they use a proprietary memory card.

Is their a prestige class in a splat D&D book that makes me better at controlling minds yet is full caster?

By full caster i mean it says ';+1 level to existing (arcane) spellcasting class'; on every prestige class level. I usually play an elven sorcerer. Is their a prestige class in a splat D%26amp;D book that makes me better at controlling minds yet is full caster?
Try looking at Complete Arcane. I think the class you are looking for is Mindbender. Unfortunately, it has so many special powers it was penalized spell levels to 'pay' for its power.

There is also the Mesmerist in Champions of Darkness, but I think that might be a divine class. I don't know much about it anyway.

There is also a class called Thrallherd which is in Expanded Psionic and obviously a Psionic class.

I think also think there was one in the unofficial book in the Ultimate Classes series. Many of the classes in those books are not useful, but some are really overbalanced.

Caster limits where implemented in 3.5 to prevent mages from becoming ramapntly over powerful by getting special class features like other class AND more spell casting potential.

Use +1 caster level items to help overcome the penialty. Also there is a feat that raises your casting level for the purposes of speel damage, range and saves. What it doesn't do is increase your spell slots or spell known.

What two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,& low classes?

and keep them from questioning why they are subjects of the elite who are comparatively much much fewer in number? What two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,%26amp; low classes?
keep them scared and dumbWhat two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,%26amp; low classes?
    im in world history...

    umm

    religion?

    belief systems?

    taxes?
this wasnt accomplished through mind control... it was accomplished with torture and death... the ruling classes KILLED the peasents, peons and lower classes... they were a Law unto themselves.
Bread, circus's and lottery. Thats 3 I know.
the main way to control is to keep the peasants ignorant not educate them and feed them lies and surely in time they will not question anything or you could use brutal force and fear that usually breaks the spirit
    i have no idea
Keep them divided from each other by way of things such as race, age, sex, etc. Make sure the Black peasants don't like the white ones and vice-versa. Make sure men and women don't agree with each other, make sure the religious and unbelieving ones always disagree. As long as the lower classes are fighting with each other, they never have time to become upper class.

Fear. Make sure they are always worried about what someone from some other land is going to do to them. That way they see the upper class as the ones keeping them safe.

Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?

i know that there are control towers that are not FAA-operated. what types of airports have those? Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?
SGR in Sugarland Texas has a non-FAA tower, of that I am certain because I know one of the controllers. So the question is whether that non-FAA tower is surrounded by Class D Airspace. A Quick examination of FAA Order 7400.9t says about SGR

ASW TX D Houston Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field, TX

Sugar Land, Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field, TX

    (lat. 29飩?7'20';N., long. 95飩?9'24';W.)

That airspace extending upward from the surface to and including 2,600 feet MSL within a

4.2-mile radius of Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field. This Class D airspace area is effective

during the specific dates and times established in advance by a Notice to Airmen. The effective

date and time will thereafter be continuously published in the Airport/Facility Directory.

So the answer is no. SGR is controlled by a fairly large corporation, not the FAA, that provides controller services to smaller airports, and it, in fact, has Class D airspace. Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?
Not entirely. There are now 250 or so Class D airports (with operating VFR (non-radar) control towers, to clarify some of the previous answerers) that are run by third-party contractors that are essentially outsourced by the Federal government as part of an impetus to move towards privatization of the National Airspace System. We'll likely see more of this in the not too distant future, and it's not necessarily all a good thing.
They will be identified on a sectional chart by NFCT - Non Federal Control Tower.

Lockheed used to have some for their testing airfields, and some cities have them for reasons known to the citites... maybe not enough traffic to trigger an FAA tower, but they wanted a tower...
I heard that the control tower at LZU, Gwinnett County Airport (Class D) in Georgia is run by a private company. I am not sure but I think that the airport is still FAA controlled. (sorry for creating more confusion but I also want to know more about it).
All PUBLIC AIRPORT are government owned (usually state) and they do fall under FAA authority even private airport have to answer to the FAA, it doesn't matter if it is controlled or not or who it's controlled by.
major cities and espicially newyork.. the class d airports have these complex tunnels unde the ground for escapes and they need to be faa controlled so there wont be chaos

Why does aristotle believe believe that the middle class was the best for controlling a society?

    1. they undoubtibly are the majority.

    2. the objectional view of the ups and downs of the economy

    3. their major role in any economy

Now that 10% in real terms control 90% of worlds wealth up from 20/80: What about middle class?

    Isn't it dellusional?

Seriously, it can not be a good use of national wealth to empower the extreme wealth as institutionalised, isnt it Nazi ideology even though its done by the Australian Labor Party?

Talk of nation building working families is a justification for marginalising excluding families formerly able to better care for kids by having the mom at home and forced her onto the work force where it may have been her choice to be a kept lady? Surely, and forgive me as a bloke but my ex did not want to work, the individual family has a basic right to existance without being marginalised as intelligenica where the business and the profession have an affordability not necessarily in an affluent suburb to not be marginalised by the mothers right to lump sum bonus being taken away from her just because her husband works, and so too on the other foot because nowadays sisters are doing it too and kept men have an equal right to not work too, without a child born being victimised? Now that 10% in real terms control 90% of worlds wealth up from 20/80: What about middle class?
it is spliting off and some are right under the rich and the other are dropping to right above the poort!!! soom or later we will not have what you call a middle class!!!!

Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?

I stand in front of them and time them. However long it takes them to settle down, they owe me double that time the next day at noon. If it's the class before lunch, I just keep them. They hate it and soon they know that if you look at your watch that they have to settle.Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?
hardway: seek the general (the provocator) who is in class control and crush him off.

Pasiveway: seek the general (the provocator) who is in class control and bribe him.Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?
Something I try when they are out of control is i say in a low voice directions. For example, I will say

    ';If you can hear me, wiggle your fingers';

    ';If you can hear me, snap your fingers';

';If you can hear me, put your hands up high';...etc

The reason I do this is first of all, you don't have to scream. Second of all you see who is actually paying attention to what you are saying. You will be surprised that some students in the back of the room are actually doing what you are saying because they pay attention. Another reason why this works is because those that are not listening will see students around them all of a sudden do these movements and they don't know why so they begin to pay attention to what you are saying. Some think its just like a game but you are doing it to get their attention without having to yell over them. After about 4 directions you should have most of the class following. If not, you can always single out the ones that aren't, by then the class should be quiet enough. After you have everyone doing it, let them know that they were not doing as they were supposed to. Depending on how out of control, after everyone is quiet I tell them to put their heads down ( for like half a minute) then continue with the lesson/activity.

If it continues I just tell them they will have to lose out on recess for every time I have to stop again.
I don't know exactly what age group you're working with, but there is a teacher i used to work with who had a great technique that worked well for students from K to 5th grade. She would do a sort of rhythmic clapping that she instructed the students early on to repeat. Everytime the students would get out of control she would just start to clap loudly. The pattern didn't really matter. The children would immediately quiet down and repeat the pattern. She would always do this three times with different patterns, and the 4th time she would always end with 3 quick claps which meant it was over. I was amazed by how well this worked and put the students' attention in your hands. Give it a try.
    Detention...
Just stop and wait. If it continues, you should start to call parents. Don't warn them, just do it. The parents should be told that their child is disrupting the class. You can also assign detention.
Sing Happy Birthday! It might surprise you.
you should shout or also you should just wait and start a stop watch and then you add on time at the end of the lesson that should work!
    turn off lights.

    start counting to ten.

do a clap that they have to repeat back and keep doing it until you have their attention.

Sit at your desk and wait until you have their attention. Tell them that that amount of time will now be taken from lunch, recess, free time, any reward that they might want. Or they have to be silent that amount of time in lunch in front of their friends.

Its a little late in the school year to be worrying about this.
say two of the scariest words that a teacher can ever utter.......POP QUIZ. and then inform then that whenever they get loud and out of control, you reserve the right to invoke the dreaded pop quiz on them.
    buy a whistle
Clapping! Might sound a bit daft. Explain that when you clap you want them to drop everything and copy the clap. It could be a two or three beat clap depending on how noisy they are. Works great for a month or two more so with middle classes.
Ooo... I remember when I was in back in school my teacher would yell twice and then get really really quiet. Than she would just start writing names on the board. She wouldn't tell any of us what she was doing... Soon enough the whole class was quiet trying to figure out why their names were going up on the board. All you have to do is come up with a punishment for those with their names on the board.
Look at them silently until they shut up and then give them lots of HW. Keep the brats busy.
tell them to shut there ******* mouth :-0
