Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?

Around here the classes are so disrupted by the kids who don't learn ,won't and don't want to learn, that I think parents would freak if they knew how bad it is.It isn't normal and should be stopped. How is it there where you are? In school people please. Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
My mom used to teach middle school but quit because of the lack of support from the principal/administration. She would have all levels in her class from gifted to special needs and everything in between. The gifted were bored, the special needs were lost and the normal/average kid got nothing because the others were disruptive. Parents would blame the school system, the other kids play the race card and everything else except they didn't hold their child accountable.

No child left behind sounds good in theory but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd like to see what would happen if kids were grouped by ability in core classes. Would grades improve because the others in your class would be at your ability level and you wouldn't have to feel 'stupid' for not understanding.

Too many good teachers are leaving the profession due to lack of support and low pay. When are people going to wake up and take a stand?!!!Are your classes disrupted by out of control kids? HS and middle school...?
yeah, in england where im from its just the same

you just get used to it, theres no point kicking up a fuss about it coz its been like this for ages, it'll never change
definately...

my school is pretty bad for that, my last years earth science class, the teacher had no control over it at all... the students who wanted to learn found it very difficult and the rest of us (most of the class) found it funny....

i think its definately getting worse, possibly because teachers allow it, and parents ignore it when they are notified of their teen misbehaving....

in school suspensions would help lots... like writing essays all day in a small room with nothing but a desk, chair, pen and paper...

i know i'd hate that... and try to not distrupt class... but I also have ADD (attention deficit disorder) and that makes it really difficult to sit thru an entire class... plus our classes are 80mins long which is way too long and part of the problem...
No, not normally. I'm 17 and in my last year of high school and it's by choice if you want to be there. If you don't want to be there you can just leave and get a job.

There are the odd few who still go to school when they don't want to be, but they just wag and go off driving somewhere.

I live in New Zealand.

When student from younger classes misbehave we often get them referred into our classes. They do disrupt our class and we have to put up with their rude attitudes and taking up our valuable learning time!!

This always annoyed me when I was younger too.
trust me when I say that this has been going on since the begining of time..

I went to school with kids that would try to start a fist fight with the teacher and if that did not work they would throw chairs and tables around the room. One kid passed out, One kid peed in the corner.. One girl chased another girl down the hallway with a knife... It was a normal day...
yes, thats how my school is. unless you are in all advanced classes, but unforunately i only got into some advanced classes, not all :(
I say kids that refuse to learn should drop out.

They're a waste of space and time.

Okay. I think most do change, but for the ones that don't...

-_______-
I actually quit my high school, got my GED and went on to college, two years before i should have graduated, because the high school i was at was pretty much a piece of crap. Kids got away with everything, cussing at teachers, talking in class. I mean some kids couldn't get the concept that some of us were actually there to learn. It was horrible. I couldn't stand to see kids my age acting that way and then being put in that category just because we were in the same grade or age.

I can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?

Does your lost of control comes in waves? Do these waves end up crashing violently?

Angler management might be a good idea. It will help keep your emotion in line and also the skill to reel it in if it starts to go too far. I suggest you hook up with my counselloer, Rod.

CheersI can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?
where do you get these? ha ha ha my goodness, Do you get any sleep at night? I would say a good answer to the questions is maybe you can worm your way out of going to the class!I can't control myself when I go fishing. Do I need to take angler management classes?
No, you go to that class - just once - and you'll be hooked; they reel you in; so please, don't take their bait. Seriously, the people who work there are only concerned about phishing for new members.
You can get hooked on those classes. They try not to lure you in.
You have a whale of a problem; better stop fishing for compliments....!!
My wife took a course in fly fishing, but couldn't find my pole.
Hi ! take off the captains cap and put on the fishermans cap ! Think the fish right to your bait...
most piscators need to
that all depends if you're the master baiter
Just be sure that you don't get hooked.
no ,just reline your spool

Well, if I am correct...I think that Abercrombie owns Hollister...and sadly these companies display pictures of barely clothed people modeling in the pictures in their stores. I think that this advocates a certain class of people or at least appeals to a certain generation that is widely influenced by sex and provocativeness. I also think that they only want rich or people who are so branded by today's marketing and advertising that they will spend so much money just to fit into a class of people who can afford to waste money. The way Hollister Co. shapes, controls, even advocates certain class/ socioeconomic structures in our society?
Well, i personally think that hollister stuff all looks the same and i think that if u really want to spend that much money on some holey pants and a shirt that is super thin, go for it. But my younger sister seems to think in order to be popular u have to look like hollister and buy their clothing, and basically... we can't afford that. So in a sense Hollister sets society apart: the people willing to splurge on clothing, and those who dress according to their budget and their lifestyle, because hollister all looks the same (beachy)
i guess i really dont understand what your asking, but i honestly can say that i dont care much for hollister because with their stores if your not tall and super skinny then your not going to find any clothes that fit you. so maybe that will help you out some. im not sure!

  • What do you class as being controlled by your man?

when he keeps tabs on you like where your going and how long you'll be gone. and is constantly ordering you around like a slave. What do you class as being controlled by your man?
If you don't feel that you can stand up to him, that your voice is heard equally, and that you call some of the shots, there is a problem.

Most of these people think relationships are about ';not letting anyone tell me what to do....'; that's why you all fail at relationships.

Marriage, relationships... ALL ABOUT COMPROMISE AND RESPECT. You might have to say, I won't talk to my ex boyfriend anymore because my real man doesn't want me to. That is not controlling, that is being a good partner. The problems come when he thinks he can still talk to his ex if you have asked him not to.

It's about give and take, honey.

Express some needs to your man. Say, ask him to make you some dinner one night and bring it to you in bed. Or ask him to wear a certain shirt one day if he gets on you about your clothes. If he willingly pleases you (and not all the time, men and women are not servants after all, just enough of the time for you to feel cared for), then he is a keeper. If he cannot please you, he is selfish and not really in love. Let him go.

Also... MANY men ';control'; and in fact dominate when a woman does not respect herself and ask for him to compromise for her. Men LOVE to be with women who know what they want and are not afraid to ask for it/get it.

A healthy relationship doesn't mean he changes you or you change him, but you GROW together, support EACHOTHER, and yes, control some aspects of eachother's lives.

Does a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?

i know that a HGV driver should never jacknife but in rare circumstances if he has to brake and stop fast he should perform a controlled jacknife.

this answers my second question 'a controlled jacknife will stop a truck faster then pumping the brakes and slowing'

technology is different now i know so it applies to ever being the case.

thanksDoes a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?
There is no such thing as a controlled jacknife. In fact, a jacknife is the one thing in this world that shows a total loss of control.

I was taught in 1976 that it only takes 1/5 of a second for a rolling rig to go into a full jacknife, and if that happens the only thing you can do is kick it out of gear and hold on.

As far as pumping the brakes, that will bleed off your air supply and when that happens it will lock up your brakes. Then you're in a world of trouble.

Modern trucks are equipped with ABS. If you hit the brakes and the pedal starts to pulse and the truck makes noises that sound like ';psst psst psst'; the ABS is working to keep your wheels from locking up. Don't pump your brakes.

Of course, if you're already in that type of situation, you're already driving slow enough that you don't have anything to worry about.Does a HGV Class driver get taught about 'jacknifing' and performing a 'controlled jacknife' if he MUST stop?
Whoever told you, you can perform a controlled jackknife is full of crap. The only controlled jackknife is when you jackknife the truck into a dock or parking spot.

A jackknifing tractor/trailer is about the most out of control situation you can ever be in, in a truck. There is absolutely NOTHING you can do to control or correct the situation. You will have drivers tell you that you can gas on it or use the trolley valve to pull it out of a jackknife, but I can guarantee you, they have never been in the situation and they don't know what they are talking about. When a tractor trailer starts jackknifing, from the time it starts, to the time it's all over with is split seconds. It isn't enough time for you to comprehend what is happening and react to it. Even if there was anything you could do, there is no time to do it.
No because they are thought to not get into that situation, however being in that situation before, it's all about perception %26amp; what is called brake lag. Perception is the time for the mind to see a problem %26amp; tell the leg to step on the brakes. Brake lag is the time for the leg to apply the brakes till the brakes actually engage. No matter what anyone says, there's no such thing as a ';controlled jackknife'; because every situation is different.

  • Can i nest controls in a class in VB?

Also if not correct syntax let me know. Can i nest controls in a class in VB?
nope....would not work, u know you can run the program to see if there are mistakes and what not and it will show you the line of code where you messed up.

Do you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?

I was thinking about becoming one, but according to my kids it may be a bad idea.Do you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?
Dude you have to take control. I've had substitute teachers that were total pushovers cuz they didn't know what they were doing and I've had some that were strict. It's up to youDo you know of any substitute teachers that actually have control over their classes?
lol... if u be tough enough u may get the kids to respect u.... i'd say teach 3-4th graders. They are old enough to understand what is good and what is bad. But be tough on them. I would let them watch some sort of fun movie, and let them sit wherever they want. But tell them they have three warnings. After the third warning, turn off the movie and give them all boring worksheets. That way, they know you arent the stupid and boring kind of substitute.
yeah right? does that actually happen?
When I was kid, we always gave the substitute a hard time. Like one time, my class had a sub named Mr. Wooley. So, someone wrote Mammoth after his name when he wasn't looking. So, I'd say you shouldn't become a substitute. None of the kids take subs seriously.
My best friend is a substitute teacher and is often complimented on her teaching abilities and is told that she is better than the standard teacher. (This is on medium to long term covers rather than one-day-let's-just-play-games cover)

I think how the children act is a reflection on the teacher's skills.
I remember in school - 20 years ago.

We really did not take them seriously.

I dont think it has gotten any better the way the schools are

    today.
    no
It's all in how you present yourself to the class on if they will respect you or not. You must have rules but still be the cool substitute so they will want you back....

Just let them know who is boss and you are not there to take any crap or games, and that they are still there to learn. Just make it fun!!

    GL
No. All of our subs in school would just let us watch movies and the class got out of control.
substitute teachers? oh man well im a student and we actually are like yaaaaa substitute! and we do the funniest things, and switch our names around and once my friend pretended he didn't speak any english and well, i think you get the picture they don't really have much control, there was this one and whenever she wasn't looking people would leave the classroom! But if your nice and kind of strict at the same time you will have control, i've seen it happen, but there are always going to be some uncontrollable classes.

There has been self awareness and mind control classes going on since the late 60s. Most of them with a week?

long course will devote the last two days for finding our psychic abilities, After many exorcises fine tuning your visualization skills, you give a shot at what they call cases,

Cases are when a person knows someone else has something wrong with them either mental or physical, They give you the name of this person, the age of this person, and where they live, What happens for most folks who take the course is they will get this person up on a screen they built in their mind during the visualization exorcises They scan the person and if the see something out of the norm like powered in the joints or the eyes are grey or a clock where the heart is they make Reference points of these things for future references, but at first they can only guess what they mean but a very educated guess, like the powder could be arthritis. The grey eyes can be cataracts, the clock where the heart is a pace maker. Then you tell the person who gave you this person to scan what it is you see, after understanding what your references points are you can become very good at seeing what is ailing these folks. and of course before you are finished with the scan you fix up what is wrong with these folks, it sounds silly but it seems to work Do you think this kind of psychic stuff comes from the devil? There has been self awareness and mind control classes going on since the late 60s. Most of them with a week?
Things that don't actually exist can't come from something else that doesn't actually exist.

    Control classes???

my gf broke up with me b/c she thinks i'm just too controlling. she says if i take some class or go to therapy, she will give me another chance. and i'm willing to do it. where do you find these classes or therapies? possible group therapy??Control classes???
First read this article about control freaks (not meant as an insult) http://www.ec-online.net/knowledge/Artic鈥?/a> (maybe you can pass it on to your gf, too).

You should look up Google for anxiety or anger management classes in your area.

What kind of insurance do you have? If you have Kaiser, they got group therapy classes, very affordable.

In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?

its there first time and at first they were offered 3 to life but plead not guilty.. what do you think they can get now??In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?
5 - 10 years. In new york they were charged controlled substance 2nd degree class A felony, loaded guns and fire arms?
Well well, a first time offender and such a serious charge to boot! In NY it seems entirely possible that your friends are looking at about 2 years to 10-15 years, that is what is so difficult to figure sentences, the US has ';roaming'; sentence ranges where Canada's are set. I do know if they'd have done it in Canada they'd get less time and HAVE to be released at 2/3 of the sentence to a halfway house.
the guns are good for a year at Rikers no matter what. Since they want to play hardball and go to trial, expect anywhere from 20 - 30 years since they have a simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms.

    Hopefully 3 to life!

Drugs %26amp; guns... geeze what a bunch of losers and a threat to civilized people! If the judge has any smarts, he'll lock them up for as long as he can!

Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?

citizen Iinclude African Americans in this group using New Orleans black voter numbers as an example and why does the U.S. deny universal suffrage ,are they afraid the poor might not vote for the chattering classes.Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?
The poor and the new don't know how to read.Do you want them to vote for your party. They were the ones making the mistakes in Florida in the 2000 election.Do the middle classes in America control politics by denying voter registration to the poor and the new?
    And your proof is?
No, nobody is denied voter registration - if you're eligible to vote, you can easily register.

If you're too lazy to get a job, you're probably too lazy to register to vote.
Ok, come on, now. How can anyone deny voter registration to ANYONE these days? The NAACP would be all over that, as would the ACLU. Do you have any examples with actual facts that you can provide?
No citizen of the US is denied voting rights.
Might I ask where in the world you folks come up with this stuff? Do you suck it out of your thumb?

NO PERSON is denied the right to vote. It's a matter of registering and heading to the polls.
No one is denied the right to vote, as long as you are a citizen. In fact, most states now use the ';motor voter'; system--when you obtain/renew your driver's license you are automatically registered to vote.

The real question for most people is ';can I leave work to vote, since most elections are held on Tuesday?';. Technically, your employer has to allow you enough time to go vote, but if this really concerns you then vote early. If your employer won't let you vote, then call some organization like ACORN.
    no, STOP LISTENING TO MOONBATS!
    No.

Poor ? I did not know you had to make any money to vote. I have not had to pay to vote ever.

New ? Aren't they Americans. If they are illegal then, NO. If you have made no obligation to this country. If you pay no taxes. You need not vote.
give me a freeking break. As a black woman, I disagree with your 100%.

Registering to vote is so easy a caveman can do it.

NO ONE IS BEING DENIED AS THAT WOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW
Any citizen of the United States has the right to vote. To register they need only go to the board of canvassers in the city or town that they live in and fill out some simple forms. There isn't any discrimination when it comes to actually registering and voting. The reasons that the numbers look the way they do and why there is extremely poor turnout of voters, nationwide, is general apathy on the part of the registered voters. Nobody is stopping anyone from voting however we are not going to force people to vote either. The option is there for anyone they just have to have the self motivation to actually participate.
    What middle class?
Nobody denies anything to eligible voters. That means if you are a legal citizen of this country then you are eligible to vote. Your lies no longer work, take them on down the road.

Find a lawyer, get it reduced to possession, drop the trafficking. Having a controlled substance, D felony might not be able to drop. If so, he'll pay fines, ordered to attend substance abuse class. But depending on the lawyer and prosecutor, they may be able to grease palms and get it reduced to possession.

I'll be taking a class which requires a digital camera with manual controls, which camera should I buy?

The cameras that I'm considering are the Pentax K110D, Sony DSC H2 and the Nikon D40. I am just a beginner. Thanks.I'll be taking a class which requires a digital camera with manual controls, which camera should I buy?
Tes, you are going to need a DSLR for this class

Get a Nikon or Canon (used is not a bad way to go to start). You will later be able to find some good used lenses for it. Instead of the D40, take a look at the D80. It will use more of the older lenses than the D40.

Sony is out because they use a proprietary memory card.

You can thank his mother. The kid is in apparent need of some help, which he's never received... his mother probably has no boundaries and has set no limits for him during his childhood. This is what we get.

therapy sounds like a good place to start.

Is their a prestige class in a splat D&D book that makes me better at controlling minds yet is full caster?

By full caster i mean it says ';+1 level to existing (arcane) spellcasting class'; on every prestige class level. I usually play an elven sorcerer. Is their a prestige class in a splat D%26amp;D book that makes me better at controlling minds yet is full caster?
Try looking at Complete Arcane. I think the class you are looking for is Mindbender. Unfortunately, it has so many special powers it was penalized spell levels to 'pay' for its power.

There is also the Mesmerist in Champions of Darkness, but I think that might be a divine class. I don't know much about it anyway.

There is also a class called Thrallherd which is in Expanded Psionic and obviously a Psionic class.

I think also think there was one in the unofficial book in the Ultimate Classes series. Many of the classes in those books are not useful, but some are really overbalanced.

Caster limits where implemented in 3.5 to prevent mages from becoming ramapntly over powerful by getting special class features like other class AND more spell casting potential.

Use +1 caster level items to help overcome the penialty. Also there is a feat that raises your casting level for the purposes of speel damage, range and saves. What it doesn't do is increase your spell slots or spell known.

What two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,& low classes?

and keep them from questioning why they are subjects of the elite who are comparatively much much fewer in number? What two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,%26amp; low classes?
keep them scared and dumbWhat two techniques have been used in history of manking to control minds of the peasants, peons,%26amp; low classes?
    im in world history...

    umm

    religion?

    belief systems?

    taxes?
this wasnt accomplished through mind control... it was accomplished with torture and death... the ruling classes KILLED the peasents, peons and lower classes... they were a Law unto themselves.
Bread, circus's and lottery. Thats 3 I know.
the main way to control is to keep the peasants ignorant not educate them and feed them lies and surely in time they will not question anything or you could use brutal force and fear that usually breaks the spirit
    i have no idea
Keep them divided from each other by way of things such as race, age, sex, etc. Make sure the Black peasants don't like the white ones and vice-versa. Make sure men and women don't agree with each other, make sure the religious and unbelieving ones always disagree. As long as the lower classes are fighting with each other, they never have time to become upper class.

Fear. Make sure they are always worried about what someone from some other land is going to do to them. That way they see the upper class as the ones keeping them safe.

Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?

i know that there are control towers that are not FAA-operated. what types of airports have those? Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?
SGR in Sugarland Texas has a non-FAA tower, of that I am certain because I know one of the controllers. So the question is whether that non-FAA tower is surrounded by Class D Airspace. A Quick examination of FAA Order 7400.9t says about SGR

ASW TX D Houston Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field, TX

Sugar Land, Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field, TX

    (lat. 29飩?7'20';N., long. 95飩?9'24';W.)

That airspace extending upward from the surface to and including 2,600 feet MSL within a

4.2-mile radius of Sugar Land Municipal/Hull Field. This Class D airspace area is effective

during the specific dates and times established in advance by a Notice to Airmen. The effective

date and time will thereafter be continuously published in the Airport/Facility Directory.

So the answer is no. SGR is controlled by a fairly large corporation, not the FAA, that provides controller services to smaller airports, and it, in fact, has Class D airspace. Are all CLASS D AIRPORTS FAA controlled?
Not entirely. There are now 250 or so Class D airports (with operating VFR (non-radar) control towers, to clarify some of the previous answerers) that are run by third-party contractors that are essentially outsourced by the Federal government as part of an impetus to move towards privatization of the National Airspace System. We'll likely see more of this in the not too distant future, and it's not necessarily all a good thing.
They will be identified on a sectional chart by NFCT - Non Federal Control Tower.

Lockheed used to have some for their testing airfields, and some cities have them for reasons known to the citites... maybe not enough traffic to trigger an FAA tower, but they wanted a tower...
I heard that the control tower at LZU, Gwinnett County Airport (Class D) in Georgia is run by a private company. I am not sure but I think that the airport is still FAA controlled. (sorry for creating more confusion but I also want to know more about it).
All PUBLIC AIRPORT are government owned (usually state) and they do fall under FAA authority even private airport have to answer to the FAA, it doesn't matter if it is controlled or not or who it's controlled by.
major cities and espicially newyork.. the class d airports have these complex tunnels unde the ground for escapes and they need to be faa controlled so there wont be chaos

Why does aristotle believe believe that the middle class was the best for controlling a society?

    1. they undoubtibly are the majority.

    2. the objectional view of the ups and downs of the economy

    3. their major role in any economy

Now that 10% in real terms control 90% of worlds wealth up from 20/80: What about middle class?

    Isn't it dellusional?

Seriously, it can not be a good use of national wealth to empower the extreme wealth as institutionalised, isnt it Nazi ideology even though its done by the Australian Labor Party?

Talk of nation building working families is a justification for marginalising excluding families formerly able to better care for kids by having the mom at home and forced her onto the work force where it may have been her choice to be a kept lady? Surely, and forgive me as a bloke but my ex did not want to work, the individual family has a basic right to existance without being marginalised as intelligenica where the business and the profession have an affordability not necessarily in an affluent suburb to not be marginalised by the mothers right to lump sum bonus being taken away from her just because her husband works, and so too on the other foot because nowadays sisters are doing it too and kept men have an equal right to not work too, without a child born being victimised? Now that 10% in real terms control 90% of worlds wealth up from 20/80: What about middle class?
it is spliting off and some are right under the rich and the other are dropping to right above the poort!!! soom or later we will not have what you call a middle class!!!!

Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?

I stand in front of them and time them. However long it takes them to settle down, they owe me double that time the next day at noon. If it's the class before lunch, I just keep them. They hate it and soon they know that if you look at your watch that they have to settle.Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?
hardway: seek the general (the provocator) who is in class control and crush him off.

Pasiveway: seek the general (the provocator) who is in class control and bribe him.Any suggestions on how to get my classes attention when they are out of control?
Something I try when they are out of control is i say in a low voice directions. For example, I will say

    ';If you can hear me, wiggle your fingers';

    ';If you can hear me, snap your fingers';

';If you can hear me, put your hands up high';...etc

The reason I do this is first of all, you don't have to scream. Second of all you see who is actually paying attention to what you are saying. You will be surprised that some students in the back of the room are actually doing what you are saying because they pay attention. Another reason why this works is because those that are not listening will see students around them all of a sudden do these movements and they don't know why so they begin to pay attention to what you are saying. Some think its just like a game but you are doing it to get their attention without having to yell over them. After about 4 directions you should have most of the class following. If not, you can always single out the ones that aren't, by then the class should be quiet enough. After you have everyone doing it, let them know that they were not doing as they were supposed to. Depending on how out of control, after everyone is quiet I tell them to put their heads down ( for like half a minute) then continue with the lesson/activity.

If it continues I just tell them they will have to lose out on recess for every time I have to stop again.
I don't know exactly what age group you're working with, but there is a teacher i used to work with who had a great technique that worked well for students from K to 5th grade. She would do a sort of rhythmic clapping that she instructed the students early on to repeat. Everytime the students would get out of control she would just start to clap loudly. The pattern didn't really matter. The children would immediately quiet down and repeat the pattern. She would always do this three times with different patterns, and the 4th time she would always end with 3 quick claps which meant it was over. I was amazed by how well this worked and put the students' attention in your hands. Give it a try.
    Detention...
Just stop and wait. If it continues, you should start to call parents. Don't warn them, just do it. The parents should be told that their child is disrupting the class. You can also assign detention.
Sing Happy Birthday! It might surprise you.
you should shout or also you should just wait and start a stop watch and then you add on time at the end of the lesson that should work!
    turn off lights.

    start counting to ten.

do a clap that they have to repeat back and keep doing it until you have their attention.

Sit at your desk and wait until you have their attention. Tell them that that amount of time will now be taken from lunch, recess, free time, any reward that they might want. Or they have to be silent that amount of time in lunch in front of their friends.

Its a little late in the school year to be worrying about this.
say two of the scariest words that a teacher can ever utter.......POP QUIZ. and then inform then that whenever they get loud and out of control, you reserve the right to invoke the dreaded pop quiz on them.
    buy a whistle
Clapping! Might sound a bit daft. Explain that when you clap you want them to drop everything and copy the clap. It could be a two or three beat clap depending on how noisy they are. Works great for a month or two more so with middle classes.
Ooo... I remember when I was in back in school my teacher would yell twice and then get really really quiet. Than she would just start writing names on the board. She wouldn't tell any of us what she was doing... Soon enough the whole class was quiet trying to figure out why their names were going up on the board. All you have to do is come up with a punishment for those with their names on the board.
Look at them silently until they shut up and then give them lots of HW. Keep the brats busy.
tell them to shut there ******* mouth :-0

Car rental class comparison, renting an intermediate car through enterprise should one expect cruise control?

I rented a car through enterprise for a week, intermediate level.Online says car comparison is Toyota corolla, pontiac G5 or nissan sentra.Used AARP on reservation, when car was picked up I got HYUNDAI accent, no cruise, power locks or windows. Manager knew that a 52 yr old woman was renting the car, driving 1,000 miles one way and never told her these facts, all he said was do you want extra ins. coverage, you have half tank of gas, no damage %26amp; initial here, nor did he say that the only person that can authorize car exchange in another location is the Gen. manager where car is rented, which theirs quit a mo. ago, so no one could exchange the car. Should I be upset %26amp; expect to be given a discount at all?Car rental class comparison, renting an intermediate car through enterprise should one expect cruise control?
You should be. You reserved an intermediate car, but you were given an economy car, which is two car classes lower than what you reserved. They should have (at least) given you the rate for an economy car. If they didn't, you were taken advantage of.Car rental class comparison, renting an intermediate car through enterprise should one expect cruise control?
    Nope, you rented a car. Not a car with cruise and all the options. And they said what most of there cars are however it also says other or the typical ';Or Similar';

In this passage Is there any proof offered that the teacher could not control his classes?

    TEACHER SACKED IN ALL-FAIL STORM

ROB MITCHELL鈥橲 thirty 16-year-old pupils were upset when they all failed their GCSE English exam at the Newton Magna Comprehensive School.

Local Education chiefs were even more surprised, and in a shock swoop yesterday, sacked Mitchell.

Bearded, leather-jacketed Mitchell(22), a member of Heysham Young Marxist League, was last night planning an appeal at the Young Street flat which he shares with youth leader Ted Harvey(27) and art student Nike Sontag (19).

鈥楾he pupils both enjoyed and benefited from my lessons,鈥?he claimed,鈥?this is all a dreadful misunderstanding.鈥?br>

One of Mitchell鈥檚 pupils, blonde, 16 year old Cheryl Sprockett said: 鈥楬e was great. He didn鈥檛 shout at you like some of the other teachers. His lessons were fun.鈥?br>

Mitchell鈥檚 lessons were chaotic, said a parent. 鈥楾he children did as they liked.鈥?br>

Damage to classrooms at the school is extensive. In this passage Is there any proof offered that the teacher could not control his classes?
No. None at all that I can see.

You have one instance of a third party stating that the classes were chaotic, but there is no quote on this and that ';the children did as they liked';. Neither of these stands as any 'proof' that he could not control his classes.

The final statement includes a reference 'damage' which may indicate violence, but also does not show proof of any missing control on the part of Mitchell. The article is remiss in stating that there is damage and NOT indicating what caused the damage more succinctly. And, even if the statement included such references it would still have to PROVE that there is a lack of control by Mitchell in the damaging of the classroom. If anything, the statement seems to indicate that the UPSET STUDENTS (mentioned in the first line) did damage to the classroom because of their not passing the GCSE rather than any lack of control by Mitchell. In this passage Is there any proof offered that the teacher could not control his classes?
The statement 'Damage to classrooms is extensive.' If that is actually true, how did the damage happen if it wasn't the students?

Also, the instructor failed in his duties as a teacher if all of his students failed this particular exam.

Birth control for everyone until after parenting classes are completed??

After reading many posts and being on several forums I have formed a hypothesis that there are many people (both men and women) who are becoming unplanned and uneducated parents.

What I mean is...Would there be a country or government that would enforce birth control to slow down the number of ';kids'; who are getting pregnant for welfare handouts and just because they were too shy to ask him to wear a condom or uneducated in this matter.

I hear so many times about parents who have children and then abuse the children through negect and stupidity.

Can we protect children from stupid parents by having each adult take some sort of written and practical exam before they are permitted to have unprotected sex?

We have to take lessons and exams to work and drive cars but practically anybody can just go and get pregnant.

Would this reduce the number of child abuse cases and the number of people recieveing welfare payments? Would this also reduce the number of STDs?Birth control for everyone until after parenting classes are completed??
Theoretically a great idea. There are so many stupid parents out there. People who are terrible role models that are not fit to influence another human life. They have their pets confiscated, but are yet permitted to breed.

In practice however, this is unfortunately unenforceable. It's also a moral issue. I would not like anyone to have this sort of control over my life, or my partners.

It would be nice to see a fine introduced for parents who can not furnish a medical clearance. Something that says they are psychologically capable to attempt parenthood, a clearance that may be government funded (with the savings from the welfare system maybe?). A test is required to drive a car, why not one to ensure the possibility of good parenthood. Well other than the fact that it is not PC...

Although I like the idea on some levels, on others it is just wrong. Even more importantly, no politician will ever get votes from this, so it wouldn't pass into law, so that means it wont happen.Birth control for everyone until after parenting classes are completed??
I think I just feel sad and frustrated that I see so many kids with doped up parents and these are the people who are not choosing to use birth control or even deliberately getting pregnant for the baby bonus etc.

*Won't somebody think of the children!!!*

I agree with your first responder. I do think that maybe there should be laws enacted for young parents, 18 years and younger, to take parenting classes before they give birth. Even a parenting class for all expectent parents wouldn't be a bad idea. Hey, if you have to take classes and a test to drive a car, then you should certainly have to take parenting classes.
Not only are you talking about trampling on human rights or giving the government way to much control over people's lives.. but you can't learn how to be a parent from a book, a class, or a test. When I had my son I got all the books.. read them for about 2 months and then never picked them up again. Being a parent is a complete learning experience from day one, you may not do everything right but as long as you do your best- it would not stop the number of child abuse cases, because some people are just crazy, some people can't control their emotions, and some people certainly should not have kids, however how would a class, test, or anything else know this until that baby is sitting in front of you. Lack of sleep with a newborn can cause many emotions to come out that the person didn't even know they were capable of. I don't see how that would reduce welfare at all... so you take a class, pass a test, how would that stop the people from having kid after kid and not collect welfare- that wouldn't do anything- would they have to take the class for every kid??? They already teach sex ed in middle school and high school and that doesn't seem to do any good on reducing the number of STDs if anything it seems to be getting worse.. so I don't see a parenting class helping that.
In a perfect world, this would make total and complete sense. I love the idea.

However, someone will claim they are at a disadvantage for whatever reason, couldn't attend classes, didn't understand classes, etc. Bottom line, we would once again be infringing upon their rights as human beings. blah, blah, blah.
sounds very 1984 (orwellian) how about offering parenting classes in high school and college. or as part of the prenatal care package of vitamins and checkups
Great in theory, would not want anyone trampling over basic humans rights though.
your intentions are good, but forcing someone to pass a test or take a class is trampling over an individuals rights. and how could anyone enforce a law tat says you have to use birth control. while it's noble to want to protect everyone, you just can't. parents need to educate their children better about the dangers of having intercourse before they are prepared to handle the possible outcomes.
don't say this at church.... more than likely they'll be mad
Interesting. How would you enforce birth control, have a guard watching you? Look, there are women who ';miss'; taking pills, there are guys who promise it won't get ya pregnant. This is not a disease with a possible cure. This is sex, and there are handouts for ya if you need help. But having kids, sadly, are some peoples way of making money. They would rather kick a kid out every year and make a bigger paycheck that way than work 40 hours a week. But to have an exam to see if they're ready for sex? Come on. You can't regulate sex, you just can't. Education is the way, but the schools are chock full of idiot teachers, who are there not for the kids always. The funny thing is everyone needs to realize it's not someone else's responsibility. argh. Parents are the main avenue, and yes there are good and bad ones. But you just can't regulate sexual activity.
While I agree with the premise that some people just shouldn't breed, I would disagree with government regulation of my uterus. It breaks my heart to see child abuse and neglect, but I don't think that the government has any place in the bedroom or the delivery room.

Who would decide what parameters these ';tests'; cover? I don't know about you, but I myself have heard many conflicting ideas in the infant/child world. (food in particular comes to mind, my mother fed me cereal at 1 month, though now we are told not until 4-7 months old) Should parents be forced to conform to government regulations requiring mothers to nurse if they don't want to or can't??

What about people with genetic predispotions to certain diseases?? Should we prevent a Jewish couple from having kids because the child may get Taye-Sachs?? I don't think so, to me that amounts to a slow genocide.

Can an uneducated person be a great parent?? Or, flip it around... Does education alone make you a better parent?

This subject, I fear, is a slippery slope. We don't need regulations on reproduction.

Do u think it's always easier to control ur classes by using blackboard than by using handouts?

I use the blackboard a lot and I know a lot of people say that you are turning your back to the students, so you can't really control the class. I feel the opposite, when students are taking notes they are better behaved because they are kept occupied for the entire class.

I do use handouts with an overhead that we fill in together. The problem with the handout is that I often find them after class on the floor or even in their notebooks, empty.Do u think it's always easier to control ur classes by using blackboard than by using handouts?
Neither... using the blackboard requires that you turn your back on class. This can be largely avoided by posting the information on the board before class begins.Handouts allow the students to be passive. this can be partly avoided by only providing the skeleton or outline, and students fill in notes during discussion.

When I taught in schools, we used the overhead projector a lot. This way the teacher is facing the class when writing information, overheads can be made up ahead of time, and the writing is larger so that people with visual problems can see better. However, now that I work at the college level, I am developing a fondness for ';Smart Board'; technology. This allows me to use my computer to project information. I can type in information, so that the students can see font instead of my questionable handwriting. I like this because it is fast; I can preload information on computer disk instead of taking time to make an overhead.Do u think it's always easier to control ur classes by using blackboard than by using handouts?
The advantage of handouts it that the teacher never need turn his/her back to the class. So for the purpose of control, there is less opportunity for students to lose focus. It is also helpful if there is opportunity for the students to fill in blanks or highlight important points in the lecture as a way to keep them focused.
I prefer handouts in a classroom. i was amazed at how many students really don't know how to take usable notes. it also eliminates the issues of students mistaking notes on the blackboard (I have really messy handwriting) and you don't haqve to worry if evetyone can see what you've written.
I prefer handouts, especially with lower-level classes. I usually provide space on the handouts for students to fill in any blackboard explanations. Give them a time limit for turning pages in. Also, I put puzzles among the handouts to get them interested in committing pencil to paper.
People/students need to hear and see what they are learning 7 times before it sinks in...so, in my opinion...a combination of visual materials is extremely important.
I'd say handouts. There's just something about having something in your hands to work with that students respond to better.

Both are useful tools, but I've had better luck with handouts.
I prefer handouts, one can take handouts home and study.

Do you agree or disagree? Why or why not?Marxist theory says that the police power of the state is controlled by a single monolithic ruling class.?
You will find that there is no such thing as a truly Communist government; communism was a social theory postulated by Marx; actually, a social cycle.

Soviet Communism is actually more akin to fascism; the Cons in this country actually have more in common with the former Soviets than they realize.

Agree to an extent. That monolithic ruling class, the celebrities, the rich, can afford lawyers to get them off the hook. Just look at Paris Hilton. Drunk driving and she practically gets a slap on the wrist. Martha Stewart's prison sentence got her MORE money.

Will Berlusconi ever take control of milan and invest into some world class players?

Silvio Berlusconi over the past few years doesnt seem to want to buy some real players for milan. The players have had their plea, and the way i see it the english clubs are just dominating europe. Of course they have the money, but if any team can revive the italian serie a i think its milan.

Alas we are stuck with old, slow defenders and desperately need some new blood to re-build the team. Berlusconi has money to spend i assure u, although im not sure if its due to his unpopularity as the PM, because he doesnt seem to want to invest in milan's future.

England have all the money right now, so thats where all of the players are moving to. You see the big 4 - ManU, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal they are in the CL semi-finals for the 3rd time in a row, they have all the star players.

Although we see great players in the big 4 of the serie A, e.g. ibrahimovic, julio cesar, pato, pirlo, de rossi, vucinic, del piero, buffon there are many other greats playing for other italian teams. you have zarate, milito, lavezzi, pandev, di natale, quagliarella, pandev and cassano. these all play for a wide range of italian teams, and if were to play for the big 4 would make these teams alot more successful. Where on the other hand, vitually all of the star players in the EPL are in the top 4, and that is the reason why u see those 4 teams in the CL almost every single time.

The italian serie a is less predictable as u can see, genoa beating juventus, as well as cagliari, roma losing and milan. There are mainly juve, milan, inter, and roma but that was not the case last season. Milan in 5th and now this year we have genoa sitting in 4th, very unlikely. So as you can see the EPL has every reason to be dominating but i think the serie a has to get more financially capable owners to control the teams.

We have berlusconi for milan which doesnt seem to be doing anything at the moment, which he can do. Kaka urges them to bid for gerrard, then we have hopes for adebayor and other stars, although nothing seems to be done about it.

What are your thoughts? Will Berlusconi ever take control of milan and invest into some world class players?
Soccer income depends on gate collection, tv rights, soccer jersey sponsors at www.sclsports.com etc. Buy a player just to watch him play for a club without financial thoughts and tactical plan will not sustain for long. AC Milan is already a giant itself. Great players will attract to the club. not the other way.

Because 2nd liner team can gain top 4 position in Seria A. In another words Serie A is more competitive. EPL is killing itself slowly. every week, year after year, same coach, same team, same player. Arsene wenger %26gt; 10 years at Arsenal, Alex Ferguson more than 20 years at Man Utd. How many new faces in Man Utd line up for the past 10 years? Will Berlusconi ever take control of milan and invest into some world class players?
Sure next season Agger, Clichy and Torres will come to AC Milan

In 2010 the team will be:

    Abbiati

    Clichy Agger ThiagoSilva Zambrotta

    Gattuso Pirlo Flamini

    Kak脿

    Pato Torres

    :)
They spent too much on Kaka Ronaldhino and Pato. Thats why they want to sell Kaka to Madrid, they went overboard on their offense
He already has made very good invest. He bought world class player like Ronaldinho and Beckham. I think that he has to buy Beckham he is a fantastic player. Ronaldinho is the best player ever came on the planet i think and we can have him back in his good days. Also Flamini was a very good move will be to sell Kaka' and buy Torres,Agger,Vidic and Ribery maybe. Finally he must release or sell Seedorf,Shevchenko,Oddo,Ambrosini. We don't need them and if we sell them we can earn money.
Milan doesnt neccesarily need stars. They need some solid young italians. A few i think will do well are: santacroce, cigarini, santon, ballotelli, and giovinco. I mean, it wouldnt be too expensive for milan to buy a few.
I didn't even read your jibber jabber...invest in world class players???? IF you're a milan fan, please stop being a milan fan, and if your not a milan fan it explains the question. Dida; won 2 champs league, maybe a world cup? abiatti is great, MALDINI = LEGEND, Kaladze plays for georgia, nesta=italian hero too bad he's injured, zambrotta=world cup, jankulovski czeck rep. senderos -swiss, bonera-italy, antonini will one day play for italy, MIDFIELD OF GATUSSO,AMBROSINI,PIRLO-italy,BECKHAM-en鈥?france!!!!! you want more world class? PATO,INZAGHI!(306 goals) SEEDORF(called up to the holland squad for the euro but declined the invite),KAKA RONALDINHO,SHEVCHENKO!!!!You should have looked up milans line up before asking this Q? milan has had 2 BAD seasons, but with paloschi, santa croche, and maybe gourcuff coming back...are you serious? plus having pato already, viduez and darmian already geting some experience this season. AC MILAN IS BACK NEXT SEASON! and maybe(probably) finish 2nd this season.
ronaldinho will leave thats for sure to either spain or brazil. and berlusconi has spoke about italianizing the team due to the amount of people saying italian football is the way it is (champions league) due to foreign players coming in and no space for up and coming italian players, so maybe we will see this?

the premier league is killing itself with the same managers?? what are you talking about!! man utd have had the same manager for over 20 years and look how good they are doing? 3 teams in the semi finals of the champions league? do yourself a favour stick to baseball

Can't control my stuttering when answering a question in class?

K So i am currently in high school, and when I was younger, I used to have a servere stuttering problem, evening in daily conversations. But then I went to a speech therpist, and my most of my problem is fixed: I only stutter seldomly in daily conversation, and when I am reading out loud to myself, because I can now control my breathing and use easy onset. But, I find that even if I read my homework answers aloud to myself the night before with no problems, when it comes to the teacher picking on me to answer a question, I usually freeze up, and manage only to read a few words from my answer before I start to struggle with a word that I'm usually able to say, and am forced to use ';stutterer's substitution';, which makes my answer strange and often wrong. What I really dislike is that I KNOW the answer to all the questions that the teacher asks, and I recite the answers to myself in my head, but I am afraid to raise my hand to answer, because I am afraid that I might stutter. I tried to use the strategies suggested to me by my therpist when I have to answer questions in school, but somehow, they won't work (They worked when I was reciting the answers to myself the night beofore). This has been really bugging me because I'm the smartest in the class, and the teacher is really stumped at why I can be so smart on paper, but I never raise up my hand to answer questions, and even screw up on answering the really simple ones. Please help, this is really bugging me! I should be getting 100s on my report card, but because of my low participation rate, Im getting a 95!Can't control my stuttering when answering a question in class?
You might have deeper problems than just stuttering. How you describe ';freezing up'; seems to suggest that you might have a form of anxiety, almost like stage fright, when it comes to being put on the spot in a large group. It might force your stutter to resurface, and/or just the anxiety of thinking about stuttering in front of everyone probably makes it worse. If you can answer without a stutter when you control your breathing and you're calm, maybe something is getting in the way of utilizing those techniques when you're in class.

I'd try seeing a psychologist or psychiatrist. Anxiety is extremely common in people with speech impediments, and only worsens them. Since you can speak fine at home, and it's only in class that you have problems, there's something more at play than the stutter itself. They can teach you coping mechanisms to increase your level of calm even on the spot, or prescribe things like Prosaic or Zoloft that help diminish the effects of anxiety.

Plus, if you're officially diagnosed with anxiety or someone evaluates your stutter, you can request that your teachers be given notice about your needs in class, so that participation points don't count against you or that accommodations are made. It's simply not fair that someone would have to try so harder than everyone else to participate, because it's so much more difficult and stressful for them than it is for others. Thus, schools are typically required by law to make accommodations so that you can get the good grades you deserve without being asked to do anything that you shouldn't be asked to do.

What are you willing to do as a working class citizen of USA to change rule & control in your favor?

The wealthy Fascist Few have everything to their advantage!

I believe in order to level the playing field, we the legal citizens must take ultimate rule %26amp; control in a shared equal access under a different form of government!

No more Republic of/by/for the Fascist Few!

True direct consensus democracy of/by/for the legal citizen majority!

We need absolute rule %26amp; control over Money/Business and all levels of Gov't!What are you willing to do as a working class citizen of USA to change rule %26amp; control in your favor?
To be honest, I'm not willing to do much. There aren't many legal options for changing the political and economic path of the country. Compared to the rest of the world, American politics is incredibly narrow in range and every issues is usually framed in such a way that debate is meaningless and circular.

For any sort of meaningful change, I'm afraid things will have to get much worse before they get better. Historically speaking, that's how societies tend to change. What are you willing to do as a working class citizen of USA to change rule %26amp; control in your favor?
i'll do the only thing i can do..

i'll choose the candidate i think is least corrupt and vote for them

unfortunatly the press got rid of dennis kusinich.. so that leaves obama..

obama is the only choice left for the least chance of corruption and self serving politics that have ran this country into the ground.
    Vote Obama
I vote for the candidate who best expresses my opinions. Of course every candidate lies: to capture a majority of the votes it is pretty much of a requirement. So I vote and hope that whichever liar wins won't mess up too badly. I'm not about to revolt. Life is reasonably good. We could do far worse.
I'll continue to support Dennis Kucinich. I'm ready to go out and protest but I can't do it alone.

How can I control my anger without taking classes?

You have to get rid of your anger instead of controlling it. Ask yourself why are you so angry? Dig deep for the answer. If you are angry at family members or friends, forgive them for they really don't know what damage they're doing. Or if they do, they themselves are lacking positive traits. If that is not the reason, dig deeper. You'll find it, address it, and get rid of it once and for all.How can I control my anger without taking classes?
Well, anger management classes and therapy are garbage. They don't teach you anything you couldn't figure out for yourself. It's just another way the ';health care industry'; is ripping you off. It's part of the stupidifacation of society. You can't control the fact that you get angry, but you can keep things in perspective. Get angry, but don't let the expression be disproportional to what made you angry. Your idiot co-worker screw up the copier? Roll you eyes and utter ';moron'; under your breath and go find another one. No need to break the copier or piss in the coffee pot. Sure you can get annoyed that some jackazz cut you off, but no need to honk and follow that person. You girlfriend cheats on you? Get mad, put all her crap in a box and drop it off at her house, tell her she's a betch and should go to hell, but don't beat her up. There's usually no need to hit anyone unless they hit you. There's no need to yell unless they're deaf. Breaking things does not help, it just makes you have to go out and buy more or whatever you broke, and that'll make you mad. It's really more about a delayed reaction that you've considered before carrying it out.How can I control my anger without taking classes?
If you're serious about it...theres a book called Anger Busters 101. and theres a workbook too. My boyfriend had serious anger issues, and went to a therapist for it, shes the one who recommended this book. The change in him is amazing. It really turned his life around.

  • My class is doing a debate on Gun Control.?

I need a more or less heart-wrenching story involving a fatality of a minor because of poor gun control regulations (%26lt;--Keyword.) Mind you, we did not get to pick our whether we or for or against, so please refrain from posting opinions. We got pro gun control. I'm in charge of the intro and I figure it'd be a strong first move to open up with something intimidating/scary. And a story, like something from the news, TV, etc. involving a death due to poor guntrol regulations. I'm not too picky, but like I said above, I would very much like a story about a minor aquiring a gun and it somehow leading to his death... you get the picture. Please help. Any and all responses will be greatly appreciated. My class is doing a debate on Gun Control.?
Sorry, I have many many guns and my children are taught from the start what guns are and what they can do. I've never had an incident where my guns hurt anyone what so ever. If people are taught from a very young age about guns, you'll have less the problems we are having now. I shot a rifle for the first time when I was 5 years old and killed a sick chicken at 100 yards with it.

Education is the key to gun control not laws.My class is doing a debate on Gun Control.?
These two wikipedia pages have a lot of information about different school shootings, many of which have minors getting gets. Columbine is probably the most famous, two slightly disturbed kids get guns and kill people they don't like.

You could for an arguement look at a country like the UK, there was a school shooting by an adult in 1996 in Dunblaine, scotland, but since then there has not been a gun attack in the UK on a school, there have been knife attacks, one happened a little while after, nobody died, and a 13 kid in leeds today or yesterday stabbed a 14 year old. This could show that with gun control and kids not getting guns that it is harder for them to go off of the rails and kill someone.

MY security level is at Medium and I know I have Active X downloaded already..I try to open a video lecture but that error message comes up with a ripped Quicktime icon.

    What Should I do?

Thanks! An error message that says ';CLick to Run ActiveX control on this webpage'; is preventing my online class..
ActiveX controls are mini programs some web sites can use to run video's or multimedia stuff on their sites.

If you have Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) internet explorer 6 sp 1 will prompt you (have the little yellow bar at the top of the window) to allow it. This is done because when Netscape first introduced scripting to web sites it was used for cool audio and video applications. Then Microsoft tried to stay in the race with Netscape created their own scripting and called it ActiveX.

But like all things that were done for the right reasons hackers and spamers and virus makers saw a use for these applications and started putting malicious ones on sites and infecting computers.

So Microsoft felt the pressure from security organizations and from consumers to help block these bad activeX's from running, so now when ever there is one on a site internet explorer for Service Pack 2 will ask you if you want to install the mini program.

Now that the history lesson is over, I will try to answer your question, if this is a web site that you trust 100% you can right click (click with the right mouse button) and selcect install activeX control and it will be installed for 99% of future uses of the site, unless they change the mini program.

I would suggest that you not install any ActiveX or java controls on any web sites you do not trust 100% because there are a lot of sites out there that are really poorly managed and you can get infected.

I use Firerfox but on the rare case that i need to go to a site with activeX controls i do use Internet Explorer 6. It's better to be safe then sorry.

Hope This helps. An error message that says ';CLick to Run ActiveX control on this webpage'; is preventing my online class..

It is hard to change the views of other people. Many times they are afraid of what they don't understand, so they are only trying to make themselves feel better by taunting you. I would try to ignore them, because as you get older you will be able to define your own social niche and won't have to deal with people who are close minded on a day to day bases. You can then surround yourself with people who love you no matter what. I am straight and I have friends who aren't and it doesn't matter one bit to me what their sexual orientation is. Transfer to my scholl, I luv lesbien,, by the way people who act like that are unimform, so consider the source
stand strong and be proud of who you are , and remember there are others who are just scared to stand up
You must be young , believe me as times goes on adults are a bit more accepting try to keep it private for noe
First off,how the hell do they know that you'r gay?DOEN';T TELL ANYONE! DUUUHHHH!You'r as$ is gonna have to go to another school.
I doubt you're 100% homosexual. Have sex with a male THEN decide if you're really lesbian or not.
wow this is not a good situation and it

just show how ignorant some people can be

and kids are a repeat of what they learn from the parent and the adult around them.

you are probably going to have to change schools

talk to your parents and guidance councilor

there are place you can go and talk to for support

do a search for gay lesbian support groups online there are a lot of them out there

    good luck
aw their mean. thats not the way it is at my skool.
