my gf broke up with me b/c she thinks i'm just too controlling. she says if i take some class or go to therapy, she will give me another chance. and i'm willing to do it. where do you find these classes or therapies? possible group therapy??Control classes???

You should look up Google for anxiety or anger management classes in your area.
What kind of insurance do you have? If you have Kaiser, they got group therapy classes, very affordable.
